It has been a little jewel so far. The app syncs with the device and gives you the best range for it to be placed from the router. We now have a good signal on our porch.
It does what it's supposed to do
This Wi-Fi range extender works well to extend the Wi-Fi signal of the router located on the first floor to the bedroom located on the far corner of the second floor. Setup is easy. I am satisfied with its performance.
This device is needed in a house with growing number of smart devices such as leak detectors tucked away behind appliances. This is where the best of routers cant reach with normal WiFi signals. I am currently using it as a wired extension but works as a non wired as well. App even tells you the optimum placement.Instructions I received basically points to the manufacturer website which had more detailed information. Once I found the wizard setup I was able to configure for my needs although I did intuitively got it working non wired within two minutes of plugging in.
Decent extender, but roaming connection doesn't work with my very expensive Linksys MR9000. Signal is not that great either on the RE9000 with the MR9000 only 30 ft away.
relatively easy to configure and works well in a 2000 sq. ft. 1-story residence; but several rooms away from the router, I'm glad I have an extender.
This extended my router range; smoothly and quickly connected my "left out" devices. Money well spent. Easy set up.
I love the additional speed it provides. The extender looks bad-axx. Had a difficult time with WPS but got it to work. So far, happy with it.
Very difficult to setup and connect with. Doesn't offer 2.4 Ghz network naming. I will be returning the one I bought.
Use the extender in my house. The router is Linksys AC2600 4x4 MU-MIMO Dual-Band Gigabit Router with USB 3.0 and eSATA (EA8100). This extender only works for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, the extender can only work for few seconds. I tried reset, reconfig and can not solve the problem. It only can connect with internet for few seconds, then disconnect by itself. I do not know the reason why. Only thing I can do is to return it.
