So far, this system is working nicely. It was easy to set up and has tripled the speed of our network. We have only been using it for about a month, but so good, so far!
I bought these a month ago and they have been fantastic !!!! They were not as easy to install as advertised, but a phone call and walk through with Linksys worked well and got me up and going beautifully. I highly recommend these units. Sam's Club had the best price by far for these 3 units and were $100 lower than anywhere else Linksys follows up regularly by email to update and check. They have been fantastic
This system performs really well. I have a large ranch style home and was using a WiFi system with range extenders to give me whole home coverage. This caused slow speed and constant changes in WiFi server settings. With the Velop system I get a strong signal throughout the house without needing to adjust my settings! Another plus is that each node has an ethernet port that can be used for nearby devices, this adds to the speed. Super happy with the system, ease of installation and Sams speedy delivery! This is number 2 in my house. The 1st one is at the far end of my house. This 2nd one is in the middle of the house. Now I have wifi on my patio which is at the opposite end of the house.
Have been using for about a month. Have horrible cell service at our house so this product has made wifi calling possible. We can move about the house and it passes us off perfectly from one unit to the next seamlessly. Very happy!
Live in a 100 year old house with thick plaster walls. Tried several other routers before the Velop system. Finally have good WiFi in whole house and outside in the gazebo. Very pleased.
There were no instructions except "down the app and follow the steps". Well, things didnt work like the steps said they would. I called customer service and they were extremely helpful, but it took over an hour and they had to walk me thru a complicated"alternate" setup since it was not working the way it should. As frustrating as that was, once it was up and running, all is fantastic. I have great signal throughout a 4200 sq foot home and even out to my back yard.
I've been using for three weeks, large house three units needed for coverage. Simple setup. Using Ethernet H/W to connect node 1 to node 2 and mesh to node 3. Sometimes devices are not reading from closest node. Throughput upto 250-350MPS on farthest node.
Easy to install. Management and status of system is controlled by cell phone app. App is sometimes erratic and freezes.
Was very excited to get this. Started setting up and then spent 5 hours, no exaggeration, with 2 different techs before i said i was done and took it back.
