Large drum and very nice. Has a disinfectant dial too.
I bought this dryer and the matching washer. Everything works great so far. The washer helps by spinning so much water out of the clothes they are barely damp going into the dryer. The cycles are quick and efficient, whereas my old dryer would run FOREVER. The steam feature is new to me, but I'm already loving it. I steam wrinkles out of dress clothes. I steam my headbands/beanies/helmet inserts so they don't irritate my skin and cause acne. For the steam, you connect a water hose to the dryer; the unit ships with the hose splitter and hoses required. This unit has built-in wireless capability which allows you to connect to your home wifi and monitor/control the laundry machines via their mobile app. The app will notify you when the cycle is done, and you can download custom wash cycles.
I've only used it 2 times but I love the features. My 20 y.o. washer finally gave up the ghost. I could have repaired it, but decided that because it was so old, I needed an upgrade. So I decided to upgrade my dryer as well.
This works very well. All features function as expected. This was a great price with a big tub to fit full loads. It's also very light weight so it can be moved easily.
We love this washer. So many great cycles and it's works great. Very spacious allowing for us to not do as many load. Also, our set it on the second floor. The last set used to shake the house however this is so much quieter.
Easy to install for average homeowner. Wish it came with the power cord.
Definitely not built like they use to. Takes multiple times to dry loads and squeals the whole time while drying. Bought brand new less then a year ago....for the price I should've gotten alot better of a machine.
Dryer stopped heating after 14 months. After disassembly of the dryer I found that a wire going to the bottom portion of the heating element had burnt through. After replacing the heating works, but not for sure how long. I used to trust running the dryer when we weren't home, but now I'm concerned that the dryer will eventually catch on fire.
My dryer arrived with out connecting cables. I am still waiting on the growing list of excuses as I have spent over 2 hours of my time trying to simply get the product I ordered at Walmart.com. The customer service is a joke, I am a professional. It has been over 72 hours and I keep getting emails asking me to take more pictures of the dryer and send them back, Very unprofessional customer service care.
I've only had this dryer for exactly 82 days and it's squealing on every dryer cycle so loud that my newborn wakes up crying in the middle of the night. What a waste of money, first and last time I purchase a GE product #SMDH
