I saw this on TV and called and got it then the Wal-Mart circular for Black Friday came out and it was in there for 119.00. That was half the price that was on TV. So, I got up Friday morning and went to Wal-Mart and bought one for me and one for my daughter. The reason I bought us both one is because I bought both for the price I was going to pay for the one I purchased on TV. I sent that one back. We both have used them and it was the best thing I have bought to do my scrapbook. We used it this past week-end to do a project at the church. I cut our time down in half and it was fun. I would recommend it to anyone. It is easy and fun to work with.
This is the best product for avid scrapbookers or even those just beginning to get into scrapbooking. It is so very easy to use. I have other die cutting systems that are very costly and you only get that 1 size die. The dies for those systems are bulky and take up a lot pf space. This product is so versatile! It is expensive to get started, but it is worth every penny that you spend! My only regret about buying this product is that I didn't get the bigger bug to start with. I'll just have to start saving to buy the Expression. You won't be sorry if you buy this product.
My Cricut was given to me as a Christmas present. I enjoyed it so much I began demonstrating it to friends and family to show them how easy it was to use and how time saving it was compared to cutting out shapes with scissors. My 66 year old mother bought one after she saw the ease of it. What would I do without my Cricut?
While this machine is pricier than most scrapbooking tools (I was fortunate enough to get it at Walmart before the price was raised), it is so amazing!!! I've only had it for a short time and I've already been able to complete tons of projects, including thank you cards, christmas cards, and other christmas gifts. As a future teacher and avid scrapbooker, I can see myself using this machine for work, scrapbooking, and home decor!!! I definitely recommend one!
I bought mine a couple weeks ago and I absolutly loved it. I've been looking into buying one and when I saw the Expression at a local Wal Mart for under 300$ I almost bought it. But instead I waited a couple weeks to think it through and got the little one instead and was not disappointed. Its a little louder then I thought it would be though. Otherwise a great buy at a great price! You cant beat this price.
I received my cricut machine for my birthday in december 2007 from my mother in law. Compared to other die cutting machines, where you have to buy new cartridges for each shape and size you want to cut, the circut will save you thousands! Every person who has played with my machine has ended up with one of their own. I trade cartridges with my sisters to save on having to buy new ones. My husband is getting me the new expression machine for Christmas! Can't wait!!!
i love this product. i have 2 little kids and it makes scrapbooking a peice of cake. i can actually get pages done in five mintues instead of what use to be an hour.
I finally got my Cricut. I purchased the original personal Cricut. It worked perfectly as described the first time. I am so excited to have a scrapbooking tool that I can use to make my own titles for my pages. I also do bulletin boards at church and it will keep me from having to buy expensive lettering. I can make titles for my family and friends that scrap too. It is small and compact and handy to take with you to crops if you want. I love it so far. I got the smaller one because I do not need to make letters bigger than 5 inches. I was able to purchase a cute, homeade Cricut cover from a lady that makes them for sale on Ebay. See the photo.
If you are a serious craft/scrapbook person, this is an amazing buy! The unit itself is pricey, as well as the cartridges that it takes to produce the picture but it really is a great product. I have had it for several months and have used it so much. I have made birthday cards, scrapbooks as gifts, embelishments for framed photos and more. Consider purchacing with a family member or fellow crafter. If planned right only two to three cartridges need to be purchaced to get a wide varity of pictures.
Thank goodness I didn't buy the expensive model. I am having trouble with both paper tears and the blade not cutting the paper properly (so I have to use scissors) even though I change the settings as directed in the instruction book. The tv video says that this product will not go off of the paper. Wrong, again.
