My grandson loves to play and interact with his Leapster explorer! He has learned so much and improved his speech. Great product!!
This charger is wonderful. I charged my son's Explorer before we took a 12 hour road trip to Florida. I didn't have to charge it again the entire time we were there...we're back now and I still haven't charged it. Sooo much better than buying batteries all the time.
I wish I would have bought this when I first purchased the Explorer for my son. Now that I have it he is able to play any time he wants and not have to worry about batteries. I looooooove it!!
It's a little pricey but worth every penny,great that the ac adapter is usable for the console itself,she can play and plug it in the truck/home and just play w/o wasting the charged battery,when we're out for a long drive she doesn't ask to watch a movie coz all she want's is to play with her explorer.
This should be included w/the leapster, at the very least the box shouuld tell you you need it unless you want to spend a lot of $$$ on AA batteries.
I bought the LeapFrog recharger for my grandson, so I can't really comment on it I would have to ask my son if it met all its expectations. I felt it would be better to charge his explorer rather than to keep purchasing batteries. I like LepFrog's products
I opted to buy this recharger for my 3 year old son as he burnt out battery so fast.It help a lot, my son can play his Leapfrog Leapster whenever he wants.Its a must for leapfrog leapster.
We bought leapsters for both our children this christmas. Also bought a charger, but soon realized that we would need one per leapster as you can't buy the batteries alone. I guess the same thing will happen once the battery begins to die. Took it back and bought a fast charger and 8 rechargeable batteries for the same price.
The new battery pack does not hold a charge. I have exchanged the product once already. Will be returning the SECOND one to the store. Would consider returning the Leapster if my daughter didnt love it so. I am very disappointed! We thought this would save us money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!
We have two Leapster Explorers. I was very disappointed that I couldn't buy one recharger and two battery packs. Now I'm especially angry because my daughter's battery pack has stopped working all together even though the charger still works fine. We haven't even had the chargers and batteries for more than a few months. If I buy the whole set again, then I'll have three rechargers when I really only need one!
