I had purchased an LG dvd/vcr recorder combo on eBay but it had no remote. I bought this RCA remote and Walmart had it to the store quickly. It came with batteries and ready to go. Programing was amazingly simple and within minutes I had the recorder up and running and set the remote to control my Onkyo receiver, Pioneer dvd player and Mitsubishi HD tv all being run by it as well. This remote will control four more items if I add them. It lights up so it can be used in low light. Excellent product for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
