This controller runs on 2.4 Ghz which is the same as your router is probably running on. You can change the channel your router is running on to fix this or you can change your router to run at 5 Ghz. This is all done in the emulator of your router. Problem fixed.
Awesome controller! Handles great!
I'm not really sure how you get this to work exactly. There is the piece you plug into the PS3 (since it's wireless) and there is a button on the tip of it that says "connect". On the back of the controller, there is a little white button that says "reset". When I want to use it, I usually just press these buttons simotaniously over and over again until the controller is on. Clearly that's not how it was made to turn on, but it works for me. After you get it on, it works like a normal controller. I can't describe the texture, but it's a lot different than a normal controller. Rather than a hard plastic, it's made out of some soft grip-like material. It feels nice on the hands (in my opinion). And another thing different about this controller is that the fingers/handles (whatever you prefer to call them) are longer on this controller. Keep in mind, when I use this controller, I am only using it for 2-player modes.
I bought this controlller to save money, instead of buying the dualshock controller, but I was wrong. The controller when I would play online would destroy my connection and throw me out of game's. So, mad as I was, I went ahead and bought the Dualshock controller from Sony and had no more problems with losing connection, but if you don't play online this is the perfect controller for you.
I am Very disappointed with this controller, it dose not stay connected to the PS3 for more than a few minutes. I tried changing my router settings AND resetting the controller MANY TIMES with the same results. DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS CONTROLLER. I bought a controller at Game Stop for the same price and it works great. Also I returned the controller to my local Wal-Mart store with out any problems.
Just pure horrible, if you want a Xbox Controller for the PS3 you have to just wait for the Power A controller.
Would not sync with the PS3. Had to take it back.
