It was pretty easy to assembly. I was impressed with the quality of the product for the price.
I've tried a few home exercise pieces, and this is definitely one of the best I've used so far. The action is very smooth, and I really like the ramp/change in stride. (Be warned, though, the ramp changing heights can be rather loud.) The fan's a bit louder than I expected, and I didn't realize the iFit stuff was something extra - I thought the iFit routines were included with the elliptical. Also, this sucker is heavy, and the space-saving design is much ado about very little. I was expecting to be able to get it out of the way when company comes over, but, really, it just takes up a bit less floor space. It's far too heavy to easily move. All that said - it's a very steady machine, and doesn't rock around a lot or feel like it's going to fall apart. My husband is on the overweight side, and he doesn't have a problem with it, either. And the ramp and resistance options really do help target different areas, and this is much more effective than a standard elliptical which doesn't have these options. All in all I think it's a good machine, if, perhaps, a touch too pricey.
Love this machine and the transaction with Walmart went smoothly. I was able to put it together with no problems. The machine itself exceeded my expectations. It has many different types of workouts, targeting different areasof the body. It is quiet and tons of fun. The fan is useless but I don't care about that. My only issue is that the shipping box was pretty beat up and 2 pieces of the plastic molding were broken. This was disappointing considering how much money is involved.
I have had the chance to work out on this machine nearly every day since it was put together (July 24th, 2013). I have found that the workouts are exceptional and the ramp moves up and down effectively (maybe somewhat loud for some folks). Putting the machine together really does require two people, I did it by myself but only after I couldn't find assistance from anywhere else. It IS HEAVY!!! Sit down first and read the instructions - there are parts that look similar in the instruction manual that are obviously different when looking at them. If you want a workout it has it, if you just want to use the machine without any inputs from the then you can do that as well. I like this product and I think you would too.
Super great deal. This elliptical is truly worth every penny so far. I've tried many different brands and totally knew this was the best one for my home. It's great because it's so quiet and also has the space saver. I've used it for 1 hour everyday since the hubby put it together. I haven't tried the ifit yet but the other workouts have been excellent. My husband is tall & weights 220lbs and it's his favorite elliptical as well. The price was the best in my research & Walmart's shipping was crazy fast. I ordered it on a Friday & received on Monday!
love it, lots of options, water bottle holder had a crack but it doesnt affect the machine! love it!
I brought the Elliptical home from the store and assembled it. Assembly is fairly straightforward and the instructions are clear - took about an hour. There was a problem with the alignment on the right side. The roller was not moving in a straight line and was scraping against the edges. I got a hold of the 800 help provided. They wanted me to guess as to what parts needed to be replaced. I provided all the numbers that could be wrong. I got all of them in 10 days. It turns out that they sent the specific part - without the bushings etc. that was needed to attach it back. Sent another request over their web site. After another 10 days they turn up. I have replaced one part at a time. It is moving less crooked now. My wife has been using it for the past month and things seem ok.
Now I know why people just join a gym! After returning the first elliptical I bought from walmart (different brand)because I got it home and out of the box just to find the plastic casing was all smashed into peices I got a proform hoping for better luck. I waited a few weeks again to get my proform. Put it together in a few hours just to have the console not registering that I was striding. Called proform and was told to take housing off the back flywheel and adjust the Reed switch. Didn't help! Called back and they said it must be the console. Consoles were out of stock and they couldn't tell me if they would get them in this week or a couple months from now! Great customer service! I did get it after waiting about a month just to find out that this wasn't the problem either. Called them back and this time they said they would send a tech out and that I would get a call from him in 1-5 days! He came a week later and fixed a bad wire. Now there is a banging or thumping noise in the back of the machine!!! Really??? Good luck if you choose to buy anything from this company!!!
