As I walked past a guy buying one of these I asked if he'd had it before. He said yes, they're fabulous. The crust is thin & crispy, loaded with toppings and cheese. Went on to explain that he takes it home, adds veggie toppings and turns it into a primo 'everything' pizza. It sounded like a great idea, so I did the same. OMG! This pizza is amazing!!!! The pepperoni & spicy sausage give each bite a perfectly spicy taste. My real reason for coming on this site today was to ask them not to do away with this huge 34oz version of this meat lovers pizza. The box says it's for a limited time, but I hope it's not. This huge pizza is such a great value, I don't want it to disappear. If it does, I'll keep on buying it, but in this much smaller 18oz size. Buy it, you won't be sorry! Extra toppings we add: green pepper onion black olives and a sprinkling of cheese to dress the veggies a bit
I have been buying the Marketside pizzas from Walmart for atleast two years or so. They are very tasty, have the perfect amount of toppings, and are very convenient.....no waiting for the delivery guy, no mixed up orders and no gloppy or cold pizza to frustrate you. This thin crust three-meat pizza has the right texture crispy crust, perfect blend of toppings, and the right amount of cheese and sauce. Way better than any frozen or delivery pizzas....and better than a lot you find at the corner pizzeria. At less than $10 for the big pizza, you really cannot beat the price, even better when you find them on sale for $8.78 for the colossal! This is a great find and keeps both the kids and adults happy at dinner time. I initially bought the 12" the first time I ever tried it but my husband, who doesn't care much for pizza, loved it so much that he told me to get the biggest size from now on!
Hands down if you want a medium, three topping pizza (all meats) for just $5 this is a clear winner in my book. Has a great texture of crunch and chewiness for a thin crusted pizza, the cheese tastes delicious and the meats are flavorful and not at all dry tasting. Simply put; this pizza blows many competitors deli pizzas out of the water and even competes directly(in my eyes) to delivery and frozen options. When can you get a freshly baked medium 3 topper for just $5? Big name pizzerias that deliver (Dominoes, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut) will have specials for a medium with just toppings at roughly $6-7 a pie... NOT including delivery fees and tipping your driver! When all said and done you just spent $10-12 for a medium pizza that might take 30-40 minutes to be delivered! If you got the time to wait for a delivered pizza, you can spare a mere 20 minutes (preheat + baking) and save yourself time, money and still get a great tasting pizza! My only complaint? They do not stock enough of these at my local store! You will not be disappointed, and they have a great selection of other pizzas too!
Buy these pizzas all the time. Has plenty of meat, crust is thin and comes out crispy! The only thing I do is add some onion........my husband is an onion freak.
wish a little more sausage. But is an awesome pizza for the price.
Delicious
Used to be great. They've since changed everything about it...so let me sum it up. The packaging changed from the standard box to this horrendous "tray." You can't cook on it, so it's pretty worthless. Additionally the toppings fall off into the tray. Speaking of toppings...there's a lot less of them than ever before. The cheese has become nonexistent. The worst is the pepperonis--now they're these garbage oversized ones (about the size of 3-4 normal pepperonis). Finally, for the label conscious, each serving now contains about 10g more fat than ever before. Were they lying to us originally? Are the new ingredients that much lower quality? Who knows. Won't be buying again, that's for sure.
I have been buying and enjoying this pizza for several year. Something has changed, not only the boxes. I have tried this item twice in the last month and they are terrible. Lost this customer I will not buy another until you can convince me you have went back to the old product which we all loved..............
Purchased this pizza today with the new designed box. Found out after preparing it for dinner that the ingredients are different also. Evidently different crust, less cheese, and two of the meats are practically missing. Very disappointing and I will not be purchasing this item again.
I struggle to even give one star for product rating. We've been getting the thin crust meat lovers pizza for several years. We got one yesterday and noticed the packaging and ingredients had changed. We ate it and I was highly disappointed. The Italian sausage was no longer the spicy Italian but something that tasted like breakfast sausage. Like other's said, there was noticeably much less meat and cheese. Even the already thin crust was even thinner. Sooo disappointed. It seems quite clear that WalMart is moving to cheaper products in an effort to beat competitor pricing (noticed poorer quality in great value tissues as well). I'm not going to be buying any more of these pizza's. I'll go to Aldi's and get a cheap pizza for a reasonable price.
