I have been using this brand for several years. I liked them before they ever introduced the smaller click version. I love the click version even more because they are easier to conceal, come in non-traditional bright colored wrappers and are made by a brand that I trust.
I used to use a different kind and wouldn't buy anything else but when these came out and I saw they were compact I figured, why not? Let's get crazy and try something new. SO GLAD I DID. I've been using these specific ones for years and ONLY these...unless the store is out, then I grab another kind but always the same brand. I see all these different ones that have come out since I started using these and I think maybe I'll give another one a try (same brand obviously, i'll never cheat on ubykotex!). There's a few that caught my eye and I'm sure I'll love them too! So glad these tampons are so fabulous. The panty liners too! Omg the thin panty liners are great (in the light blue wrapper). They always have my back when i need a bit more protection or toward the end of my period when it's too light for a tampon. They're great and they work perfectly with the type of undies I wear. #loveubykotex
As almost every woman does, I used pads on my first few periods. Over the years however, i've found tampons more appealing, especially with being in high school and not wanting my period to hold me back. My mom had a box of these lying around and I figured i'd give them a try. These tampons are amazing! I like the colors (blue, purple, and pink) and the compact style, which helps them go unnoticed in high school. I have regular to light periods so I often experience some discomfort when changing my tampon, and sometimes i'm afraid I might break the string, but these tampons do the trick! I'm able to work, swim, and participate in school feeling my best, despite being on my period. For some reason, my 36 pack only had purple and pink tampons, so I was unable to picture the blue ones as I didn't have any left from my previous box (which was an 18 pack).
Oh god why!? Why aren't the tampon wrappers colour coded!!?? The supers have the exact same colour and packaging as the regulars. I have a pack that comes with 2 different sizes yet there are 3 different colours of packaging...You have to pull each one up to look at what letter is on the middle of the tampon! This has to be a joke. This is the most puzzling thing I've encountered in the 20 years I've been using tampons. Did a man do this? Unreal. Lastly, what is the environmental impact of adding a rubber grip to the applicators? So wasteful and unnecessary. It's a tampon, not a bike handle. These may sound like minor issues, maybe they are. But its annoying enough to never buy these again. Playtex for the win. Thanks.
I have bought 3 different boxes of sleek and all of the. Have fallen apart on me. I swear up and down that if I stay with kotex the only type I will buy is the click ones. As with every cycle I use two different types of absorbents none have stayed together. I was very disappointed. I figured it was just that two boxes were gifted to me as they are sleek supers and falls apart also. But even my regular ones do. Then when I go to check the webpage about the recall it tells me that the lot number and department number are invalid. There goes 52 supers in the trash and 18 regular plus what ever I have left from my two open boxes that are in my container in my bathroom. Very disappointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I just bought a jumbo pack with 3 sizes ( regular, super, and super+). I have extremely heavy periods, but I use different sizes depending on where I am or what I am doing (at home I use regular as I am home and can change it more then I normally would, put and about I use super again can still change it more then at work, and at work I use a super+ cause I'm lucky to get to the bathroom in 4 to 5 hours, and by then I'm leaking through). This is the first and only brand that did not separate the different sizes by color. Mixed in one box not even separated were 3 sizes and multiple colors for all sizes. I will never by this again.
This is not a good first impression. I usually buy Always radiant tampons and decided to try this brand out since it was right next to it for the same price and I s*it you not I opened the box to only find 3 super tampons? and was confused I was supposed to get 17 regular and 17 super. I left a pic of the receipt to prove that I just purchased this item and opened the box Look at the date on the top. It wasn't walgreens fault. This is your warehouses fault for not properly boxing this up and that's why I'm leaving the review here.
If you like fishing around in your vagina with your finger to find the string which is roughly the same size as your hair.. then you will enjoy this tampon. Also the packaging is loud plastic that doesn't have an easy tear open. You may have to crinkle it around for several moments trying to open it. Dont use when you would prefer to be discreet. Also the applicator doesn't have a stop and will pinch your "lady lips" when it pushes tampon in. But other than that it's good. It absorbs blood just like it should.. one last thought... a womans lady parts are not profanity. How idiotic
I am unhappy about receiving this incorrectly manufactured and potentially dangerous tampon.
I Ran out of the Kotex tampons that are regular size that I've been wearing for 20 years. I went to two different stores and was only able to locate the new Kotex tampons. I was desperate so I bought what I could find in regular size. They turned out to be the “Click” tampons. They are so small that the blood just poured out of me all day. I have never worn any size, but regular, have never had natural child birth and do not have a large canal. These tampons are tiny and are the equivalent of a pantiliner in protection. Very stressful to be 43yrs old and feeling like I'm in high school and worrying about having an accident. To give you an idea, I go through 2 regular size old school kotex tampons in a 9 hour work day on my heaviest days. These new tampons suck and I don't know what I'm going to do if I can't find the old ones somewhere. I only like the Kotex brand and am now at a loss.
