I bought this for a truthful review and a rebate. Thanks to #ShopperArmy and #BurtsBees for the opportunity. I must say I have never bought Burt's Bee's before, but wow, this product is amazing. I got the 2 pack that has Vanilla Bean and Coconut & Pear. The smell is not overpowering and boy oh boy, did my lips feel amazing! I swear I always have chapped lips and even after 1 day of using, that are starting to heal up. This product is 100% Natural as well. It's so moisturizing. It also contains Shea butter and bees wax. This is free of parabens, a good thing. I would highly recommend this product . I'm so happy I got the opportunity to try this! [This review was collected as part of a promotion]
I use Burt's bee lip balm in The winter where I live i my lips get so dry cracked and so chapped in the winter this is the best lip balm for chapped lips
I love Burt's Bees products! I use mostly the lip balm as do many of my family members. I give them to family as stocking gifts at Christmas. This original is my daughter's favorite!
Smooth and nourishing! Other brands are either too drying or make my lips burn. Burt's Bees lip balm is the best and I never use anything else!
I've been a lip balm addict for over forty years, and there isn't a brand I haven't tried. Burt's Bees Lip Balm is hands-down the best. It smells fabulous, it feels great going on, and it keeps my lips feeling smooth and soft longer than any other I've tried. I go through a tube a week or so, and I usually have a dozen tubes on hand!
I got this for Christmas and l have had it before. This stuff is amazing and l have tried hundreds of lip balm but nothing like this. One of the reasons people don't like it is because of the tingling sensation, they think it is just to much peppermint in the lip balm but it's actually a good thing because the tingling sensation is actually getting rid of the crusty bit and making your lips not dry. Tip: The more you put on the more it helps believe me!!
My girlfriend was dying from leukemia and the chemo meds and her deteriorating condition made her lips so dry. Erin loved your product and used it her whole life. The very last thing I did for her was put some of your balm on her lips. I received a small smile and she looked at me with gratitude and love. She then fell asleep and in just a few moments left me to continue her journey elsewhere. Your product made her last moments here better. I cannot ever express the value of that and the thanks I have. This is Erin just before she got sick. I wanted you to see the beautiful girl you helped.
This lip balm is the key to my happy marriage... seriously, my top wife responsibility, is making sure we never run out of the original Burts Bees! My husband loves it that much. He is never ever without a tube in his pocket! He loves the slight mint tingle and it works the best at healing and preventing chapped lips! I enjoy it too but he is a number one fan
Went on well, lasted, did it's job perfectly, a miillion times better than all the other mass produced products out there that claim to do the same thing. Would but again, give as gift, and recommend to others. Great job with all products, keep it up!
While the description may state it's the "original", this is not the same formula that made this lip balm amazing and popular 15+ years ago. Although the formula doesn't seem to have changed significantly, the ingredients for the true original, in case anyone would like to know, were listed as: "Beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol (vitamin E), lanolin, peppermint oil, comfrey root extract, rosemary extract." I'm guessing the biggest difference is the omission of vitamin E from the current formula. Hopefully Burt's Bees will consider using the original formula again and return this balm to its former glory. Note how the bee also looked different on the label for the original (see attached image).
