This is such a hard item to find, but trust Walmart to carry it all the time, and the price is always amazing. As soon as Walmart has it in stock, it is quickly gone the same day, so when you see this item, I suggest you stock up because the fat free goes very quickly. The taste and texture is EVERYTHING!
Contrary to the reviewer who stated that this cheese is made from Goats milk, the cheese container clearly states that it is made from COWS milk. The taste is more mild than full fat version and so far not tangy like I expected. It is good none the less. I like that I am not eating the fat but am enjoying the cheese.
This is the best! Guilt free feta! i buy it every month. I buy regular shredded fat free cheese and of course, i know what i am usually exchanging inborder to get the low fat or fat free versions, usually you sacrifice the moistness, meltability, and a little flavor. This works exactly like my standard feta in the dishes I use it in.
The fat free Feta cheese is packed with guilt-free flavor and is a great addition to any salad, taco, wrap, or pasta dish. I even used a whole container for that viral TikTok recipe where you bake it with tomatoes and olive oil and spinach. It came out delicious, and a lot less greasy than its full-fat cousin. Great to have on hand!
