The toy overall is good : 1)It resembles the republic attack shuttle seen on the show 2)Has good electronics the most recorded interactive dialogue of all the STAR WARS toys I own and I have 90% of them I like that they added lights to the toy. 3)Has many weapons : front retractable heavy guns, overhead guns, main cannon, Manned POP UP Blaster CANNONS and rear retractable guns. 4)Is a great concept of turning it into a mobile attack base as Kids and parents would like the value of multiple toys in one 5) I think the detachable patrol craft is a cool idea lends great playbility for kids. 6) I like the fact that it can hold clone troopers in the interior and pop up cannons can hold a trooper one each. BUTS 1)but would be nice if it was a little bigger at the front cargo/ rapid deployment ramp area at the very front of the ship and is what makes it so cool when you watch the show on T.V. 2)but wish that the BRO would have put lights on the outside of the toy ship. 3)but wish that the landing gear was retractable.
My 10 year old son loves Star Wars and has wanted his own ship for two years now. We went to the store to buy this and they were all out. Luckily, we searched Walmart online and found what we needed - even with free shipping! (dont't know why, but it was also $20 cheaper) He loves the attack shuttle and the fact that it has the ship and folds out to an attack base is awesome. Thanks Walmart.
My 12 year old son says: "It is verry cool. It has sound effects, change to a fortress, the head can detach and be used as a new ship... The key thing is to have fun and to use your inamgination. This ship allows both." As mom I am pleased with this product. My 12 year old was able to asemble it on his own with minimal assitance. The sound effects are not loud enought to be disturbing to me.
I bought this toy for my 2 grandsons for Christmas. There is plenty of pieces inside the box for the two of them to play with: they are both Star Wars fans.
Bought this for Christmas and my son loved it. The best part is that it "speaks" to you and tells you about a battle that is going on. My son was so excited because the Star Wars character's voice sounds realistic and really made him feel like he was part of the battle to save the ship. We didn't expect it to have so many phrases, etc... Really cute when the ship flies away and it makes a very realistic sound. Neat toy. Lots of play time.
Huge vehicle comparing to other ones for Star War action figures. Son loved it. Sounds and lights are a bonus. Looks like it will be one of the more frequently play with toy.
GOT IT FOR MY SON AND HE LOVED IT. HE PLAYES WITH IT ALL THE TIME
Great toy! My son loves it! It has sounds, doors that open/close, parts that can be removed, and it's good sized. I got it on sale, so the price was good. Not sure it's worth the full asking price.
My son loves this toy and is very happy with it. We only have one problem... the wings. They were hard to put on, until we loosened the screws and then tightened them once the wings were on. But as hard as they were to put on, they sometimes fall off while being played with. So we have to repeat the loosening and then tightening of the screws again. I paid around $25 (online price), so it was worth the money since it retails for around $80.
I'm a long-time toy collector and STAR WARS fan so I've been buying these for a long time for display and reselling. My 2 Attack Shuttles looks awesomely menacing as a stationary display pieces for my open Clone Army, but the devil's in the details. Lots of removable and moveable pieces that don't fit well back into place. If you have kids, they will love the breakaway front of the ship and the intricate base that it makes, but getting it all back together to resemble a ship could be a problem, especially for younglings. Has LOTS of electronic phrases, some that are several seconds long, which are fun. The price point makes this a hard justification considering the Republic Gunship was only $50 a couple years back and is by far a superior toy compared to this one. I probably should have waited until after Christmas and picked mine up on clearance. (NOTE: This item is $10 more in Wal-Mart stores, but my local Wal-Mart did price match the website.) May the Force Be With You!
