[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun toy for a young kid! my son had to follow picture directions to move through the steps to unlock the prize. this toy is best used outside because of the slime that is inside. pieces are normal size, and can used after to play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son loves Treasure X! He gets a thrill out of revealing multiple surprises, then assembling them and adding them to his collection. The sword in this pack was his favorite accessory. He can't wait for the next one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Treasure X Single Pack and I have to say that it is rather unique. The little figures are interesting, and my eleven year old son really likes them. He is now wanting to try to collect all the different varieties. My seven year old showed no interest at all. I will say that the pieces are rather small and probably unlikely that a small child will keep up with them. However, my eleven year old was occupied for several hours. I would definitely recommend this to any of my friends with older children.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old son absolutely loved this. It kept him busy for over an hour of independent play. He had played with it everyday this week. He even played with it in the bath for added fun. I would definitely recommend this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needless to say my grandson collects all these treasure X little toys he has the big pirate ships the Sharks all the other things that come in it and was excited to see that he got something in the mail. Sometimes when he gets the single packs he already has the little treasure and doesn't care cuz he likes to collect all these little things so it was a nice surprise for him. These are really neat little toys for boys to collect if they're interested in these kind of things.
a gift for grandson he loves these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun toy. I like that there is no mess. The packaging is so cool. Good quality is also great! The directions are good as well. It is so fun to find a surprise. I would highly recommend this product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably the 3rd or 4th type of Treasure X we have gotten. My boys, ages 8 & 13 LOVE these things. I only had the one this time so they had to share the process but they had a good time. These toys are like the "dig kits" you see with sharks teeth or whatever inside them, but less messy and more fun. In the package are instructions on each of the steps you will take to uncover all of your treasures. They have parts that go together to use on later tasks and it's a lot of fun to discover what character you will get and which style of weapon, and of course...will your treasure be gold plated? They got to disassemble the packaging, put together a (plastic) sword, dig the character, weapon, and treasure out of a sort of wax? It's almost like slime but solid and not nearly as messy. (I usually have them do these on top of paper towels or paper plates). They sort of carve the embedded items out of the "wax" and then got to chop open a little treasure box to discover the treasure coin (which could be dipped in real gold, but ours was not.) After you can set up the items as a display which really appeals to my older son- a collector. These Treasure X items are hot, and were hard to find still in stock around Christmas. My kids have requested these as gifts on Christmas and for birthdays. I will continue to purchase these for my kids.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 9 and loves all these Treasure X toys. He had fun with this one, but I don't think it was his favorite. You use the sword to dig through a jelly like substance to get to the dragon inside. It was a lot easier/quicker to dig through than some of the other sets he's done, and digging is part of the fun. The dragon also doesn't stay together well. Again, he had fun, but I think they're other sets have been better designed.
