Color was bright. I loved it
Wanted coral sheets but not too dark. Formulated with this and the coral to create exactly what I wanted. Helpful hint- if dyeing in the washer keep a junkie blanket near by to do a few wash cycles after and draw out any excess dye.
Wanted to dye a couple of natural macrame panels red. Tried the powder but they turned pink. I bought this in scarlet red. There's nothing to know it just works.
My towels had taken on a dingy hue. i decided to change the color to grey. Got two bottles of Rit dye and now i have beautiful grey bath towels, sheets and face cloths. Easy to use!
This Rit dye was so easy to use! Liquid is the way to go, no dissolving and no odd little color dots if it wasn't all the way dissolved. I did use the soda ash before dyeing my 100% cotton white shirts because it helps keep the color bright and true. I now have the color shirts I wanted but couldn't find on the store rack! Next...maybe tennis shoes to match!
I bought another red Dye first, To do my kitchen rugs, but they looked so faded out after, so I ordered this darker shade of red and they look just wonderful now!
Easy to do, just follow the directions. I just reset the wash cycle on my washer to get the recommended dyeing time and a pair of shorts and a pair of cargo pants came out great.
The color comes out as a deep merlot. It dyes great as long as you follow directions but you'll also need to order the color set dye or this beautiful color won't stay
Bought this and was so disappointed in the color. It turned out kind of orange on 100% cotton. Then when I used Rit color remover to get it out, it turned the items yellow! Don't usually have this issue with Rit dye.
I'm so upset, it took forever to get the product once I received it I didn't really need to use it right away because I was able to buy the exact color somewhere else and only needed to dye 3 panels at the moment so I got around to finishing the other 6 panels again very familiar with Rite dye I use it often especially “Taupe” never an issue until now. It was “BLUE” or what seemed to be a blue purple. I did a test and Thank GOD I did or I would have ruined $1300 in curtains. I'm still in need of this color but I'll find it once Christmas is over I'm sure.
