I LOVE this product! I have twins that are almost 4 months old and they still sleep in this every night. I LOVE the fact that if they wake up I can reach over and give them a pacifier and a stroke on the head. I also have an Ocean Wonder's mobile on a stand near it and I can reset that in the night without having to get up. I have gotten much more sleep as a result of using this product. I recommend it to ANYONE who would like to try co-sleeping.
I have used this product for all three of my children. I had c-sections with all three and found that the convenience of having the baby right next to the bed was wonderful. I do not have to get out of the bed to get the baby like I did with a regular bassinet. Frequent night nursings are so much easier that way. Also, the pockets are handy for storing diapers, wipes, etc. so that there is no need to get out of bed at all. I have used it as a play yard.
I wasnt' ready for my baby to sleep in her own room yet and I wanted to keep her close by and this works perfectly. I only wish I would have had it earlier! I'm happy that I will have it for my next child. My only complaint is that it took my husband and a while to decifrer the instructions....but all in all I would def recommend this product!
I bought this product because we are expecting twins. I wanted a roomy enough bassinet that will hold both of them. I also liked the convenience of having them both by my side as I sleep. It's a very sturdy product and I would recommend it to all first time parents.
I bought this co-sleeper for my granddaughter's first born which she is breast feeding. This is the ideal sleeper. The baby feels close and is in eye sight, but not in the actual bed with the mother. It is also used as a changing table, which in a room where space is limited works great. I would highly recommend.
This is the most sturdy bassinet/portable crib I ever see. I have tried and compare w/ many other brand, but no one better than arm's reach. We bought the blue color for our baby boy, and it meet 100% our expectation.
I recently had my second daughter via c-section and this has made my recovery time easier. I am able to attend to my daughter without waking my husband. Also I am able to keep checking her to make sure she is breathing which every mom knows this feeling.
I like the product, the only thing is if you have a high bed it's not equal in height. You can build a platform. The mini makes it nice to put stuff underneath, but he big one doesnt leave room for storage. So it's just a crib or a playpen. Overall it's a good product for being close to baby.
It seems like a great bed and good purchase, but I didn't expect the gap to be quite as much as it is between the co-sleeper and our bed. Also, the space under it is useless...I was mistaken in thinking it could be used for storing baby stuff. However, I think I'm going to absolutely LOVE it! It seems like such a wonderful way to have baby close by for frequent breastfeeding in the night yet still be safe in his own bed. I'd highly recommend it to others for the sake of breastfeeding and bonding with baby so close. (Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because of the gap, storage, and because it doesn't look like it will last past about 6-7 mos old because baby could climb over and fall. I was hoping to use it for at least a year.)
Co-sleeping with my baby was wonderful, but the one time I tried one of these the gap between the bed and my baby made me nervous. Really, for the cost, you can get a good bassinet that is made to lay next to your bed and is secure all the way around.
