So my hubby is deployed and I had to put this together on my own... We're using it as a toddler bed but will use it as a crib when we have the next one. You've gotta have the guy mentality of not reading the directions to put this one together. It took a while to figure that out but once I did it was pretty easy to put together. My son loves it!!
This is worth the money. It worked so great for my little boy. We now are using the 2nd part of the crib its now a todlers bed! And he loves it! hes spends hours in his room playing on his bed.. It goes good with just about anything.. Boy or girl!! Hope it will work for the little girl thas on the way!!!
I bought for my niece, it wasnt the color I was expecting but worked really well in the nursery. It was easily assembled, has all parts for easy change to each stages. The bed was made very sturdy. I would definately recommend ths product to others.
I LOVE this crib! However, I thought the drawer was attached to the crib! It's crazy, it just floats around under the crib on wheels. I was sooo disappointed. In the picture, the crib skirt makes the drawer appear to be attached to the crib. I still love the crib, just wanted to warn everyone about the floating drawer!
The instructions are really bad.We had to guess how to put it together, sometimes we had to undo the whole thing. With normal instruction this crib could be done in 30 min but it took us 4 hours. But finally we did it!It looks nice and it seems to be strong.
I like the crib. The plastic rails strike me as being flimsy, but they are holding up... for now. At times, it is hard to lower the rail - the whole thing bends a bit. You just have to take a close look at the latch system for the rail and manuver it accordingly. At first, I liked the idea of the drawer. Now, it just seems odd. It just rolls under the crib, has no top, and I haven't a clue what to put in it. I put blankets and sheets in at first, but the kids just roll it out and the cats just make it home. So, for now it lies empty and useless. One of those underbed storage tuppaware looking things would serve better. Overall, I'm really happy with how the crib looks! It is very pretty. I haven't had occasion to try out the conversion stuff yet, but I'm sure that won't be that big a deal. It wasn't terribly difficult to put together, but I'd recommend it being a two person job... the parts can be unweildy at times during construction.
We just got this crib and our baby girl won't be here until February so it hasn't been put up to that test yet. My husband loved the ease of putting it together. We have put together alot of boxed furniture and this was defiinitely one of the easiest to do. It only took about a half hour. It looks really nice in the room and I love the fact that it can be changed into a toddler bed and eventually a full size bed if wanted. I also love the extra storage drawer that comes with it. The only reason we decided to rate it 4 stars overall is because it doesn't seem to be extremely sturdy material of course for the price what can you expect. I don't know if it will last through all the stages it can be changed into. Other than that the price is excellent and I would definitely recommend it!
This was pretty easy to put together by myself. I did need something to support one side so it wouldn't fall over. I haven't put together the trundle drawer because I already have items under the crib. The drop down side seems cheaply made but.....BIG BUT it seems safer than the foot bar used on other styles. Little ones are so curious I constantly worry they will bonk on the metal part of our other crib with the foot bar. It seems really stable and although plain we worry alot less about chewing. I can't comment on conversion yet...
THE BED IS NICE BUT IS DOES NOT STATE ANYWHERE IN THE AD THAT THE DRAWER IS NOT ATTACHED , IT JUST ROLLS AROUND UNDER THE BED. THE OTHER IS MAKE SURE ALL INSTRUCTIONS ARE READ AND NOT JUST LOOKING AT THE PICTURE BECAUSE U WOULD NEVER KNOW THAT THERE ARE 2 SUPPORT BARS THAT SUPPORT THE MATTRESS, WE HAD TO FIND OUT THE HARD WAY WHEN TE MATTRESS STARTED TO BOW. OTHER THN THOSE TWO ISSUES THE BED SEEMS TO BE STURDY AND WORTH THE $200 SO FAR
Fairly easy to put together if you can read between the lines... the instructions were horrible. it took me 1 1/2 hrs to fully put together when it should have only taken about 45 min.
