Lovely Crib

I love this crib! There is an nearly identical crib in Pottery Barn Kids for $700, but theirs doesn't have the storage drawer on the bottom, so this one is even better! I was prepared for a difficult assembly after reading the other reviews, but even being 8 months pregnant, I put it together by myself in about 2 hours (my husband did help me connect the 2 sides, but he was only there for about 5 minuets of the project!) The crib is beautiful, a rick dark color, and looks great with the Canopy dresser I just purchased to go in the room with it. It is very sturdy, and looks like I paid a lot more for it than I did.

Very sturdy, cute, contemporary. Nothing bad to write about it.

This is a very beautiful crib! It was fairly easy to set up with 2 people. Crib is a beautiful color and style is similar to that of Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel, but 1/2 the price. Crib is sturdy and wood is solid. I would highly recommend this crib to parents who like the upscale style without the price. As a nurse and overly safty-concerned parent, I am confident placing my newborn in this crib.

We were very happy with this crib after putting it together! My husband and I put it together without any problems. It took about 1 1/2 hours to complete. The adjustable side rail was a little tricky to put on. The color matched perfectly with a previously purchased bookcase in espresso. The wood does dent easily, so it really requires extra care when putting together. All in all, I completely recommend this product for not only its great price but also the quality of it.

I love this crib. It is beautiful and perfect for my son, who is due in May. However, I agree with all other posters who said the instructions were ridiculous and hard to follow. My husband is very handy and could get through it pretty quickly. But if you aren't sure what you are doing when you assemble, get help. Also, the wood scratches so easily - be very careful when assembling it. I will get good use out of this, but I think it is going to end up pretty scratched from use. All in all, it is a good value - and a very beautiful unit.

This is a nice crib, but the directions are hard to follow. They don't seem complete. The crib is sturdy, and I like the way it looks, but the hardware shows, and is more noticable than what I'd like. Overall, I like the crib and I'm mostly satified.

Overall, I'm happy with this product. It seems to be sturdy and the color is nice, exactly what I had expected...the only downfall to the appearance is just as the other reviews state...there are no wooden plugs or anything to cover the very bright/shiney screws along this crib. Assembly was not super easy...again just as the other reviews suggest. My husband (who is handicapped) and I (about 6 months preggers) were able to put it together in 2 hours. Be prepared to find that the instructions are near useless, but know that the crib will come together nicely in the end. I would say that this product is a good value for the price paid. Yes, I would imagine there are much better built cribs out there, but the ones I found were several hundreds of dollars more. For the money, I feel as though this product has met my expectations for the most important things...safety and stability. In addition, it looks nice in the baby's room...so, mom is happy.

Really happy with the crib and changing table. My very handy husband had no problem putting them together. The directions are lacking but it can be done. I am pleased with the color and quality. The only thing I don't love is the fact that the front (adjustable side) is weak. I found that they have an identical crib design on Pottery Barn Kids for twice the price!!! Good buy!

I just set it up and it a gorgeous color. My husband and I found the instructions totally doable and got it done in about 1.5 hours. The dark color does knick easily so be careful, but it is nothing a permanent marker can't smudge out. I can't wait to receive my matching changing table! Tip for assembly: Don't screw the headboards in too tightly until you have inserted the movable front. You need the cushion to get it to fit without scratching your new crib.

I purchased this crib for my second child. It is beautiful, but around 6 months he started chewing on the rail. The finish comes off very very easily. The teething guard does not come down far enough to protect the wood. I have tried two different guards to help, but they will not stay put. I have also tried to find out who manufactures the crib so I contact them for help, but can't find a website for the maker. I will never buy a product again where I cannot find out who makes it easily. I would not recommend this crib. I was also disappointed when I purchased it there was not a warranty card to fill out and mail in. How are you supposed to find out about recalls? The upside it the crib is beautiful (barring the teeth marks on the inside of mine). It also is very sturdy and the drawer on the bottom is great for storing sheets and blankets.
