suffering from a bad cold/sinus infection this med helps my body aches and clears my sinuses.
Great medicine, provided you can find the silly directions for dosage WHICH ARE NOWHERE ON OR IN THE BOX. i had to go on line to get dosage directions.
You guys ever think of making a smaller size capsule? These are the best OTC cold remedy on the market, but taking four small pills would be so much better than trying to choke these horse pills down while contending with a stuffy nose and sore throat. Thanks for listening!
To ensure efficient, effective communication to customers using this product when they're sick, it would be beneficial to have dosage information printed somewhere on the actual package. I LOVE this product, which is why I'm rating it a 3 right now instead of a 1. When you feel like you've been hit by a Mack Truck as your first dosage of DayQuil wears off, and go to the package to see how many you should take and how often, the last thing you should have to do is have to go look this information up online. All you really want to know when you're sick and grabbing your medicine is "How much of this do I take? and How Often" - which leads me to the next big concern.Why aren't dosage recommendations based on weight? I ask this because a few days ago my dog was at the Vet, and they administered Bingo's flea, tick, and heartworm medication based on his weight. As I went online to find out how much DayQuil I should be taking and how often, I noticed the charts right on the Vicks website are based on age. As medicine enters person's body, weight -not age- could play major factor in how much is needed and how often. I sure hope the human medical profession fixes this fast, because it's a sad day when our pets are getting better, more accurate, standardized medicine dosages than we are!
It's effective but really hard to open. We brought some and we struggled to open the liquucaps. We end up not taking it. At home, we end up using a scissor, not really safe. Too bad. But if we are able to take it, it's great!
This medication didn't stop my running nose and sneezing. It just made me feel tired.
Does nothing to help dry up mucus. My nose was running but now its congested and I wish it was back to running to help with the sinus pressure. Also most of these reviews seem suspiciously like they were written by a marketing team. Currently at work and struggling. Nyquil works well though as far as helping me pass out and sleep through the symptoms that this hasn't helped take care of too much.
Needs to be taken every 4 hours 2 capsules, I still had the same symptoms of sneezing, watery eyes, runny nose. I was disappointed in that it provided no relief.
Took this on day 2 of a terrible sinus cold with fever/body aches. It didn't help any of my symptoms in any way. Merry Christmas. Do not recommend.
