After coming down with COVID and having major sinus congestion and coughing for a night (which made sleep impossible) I immediately turned to NyQuil SEVERE, hoping it would alleviate the symptoms. The first night I took it, I slept like a rock (no nose blowing or coughing) and woke up feeling much less congested with less coughing. The second night I took it, I slept hard through the night again and woke up without any congestion, feeling like a new person. Over two nights, NyQuil SEVERE allowed me to BREATHE and truly helped my body get the REST it desperately needed to fight off the virus and heal. I can't say enough good things about this stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm definitely not a fan of liquid medicine BUT this one isn't that bad at all. It actually was almost cooling and felt good on my throat. It took maybe 30 minutes to find relief in my symptoms. I was already exhausted but couldn't sleep because I felt lousy. This helped my symptoms and allowed me to get good sleep. I did notice that once it wore off, I was up. Wide awake. That happened at around 3 am unfortunately.

I have never had one that did not work just like it is supposed to . I have a very low tolerance for this kind of medicine as it puts me in a deep sleep. I wake up feeling so much better!!!

I felt horrible with the flu and this helped me get some rest, It helped with my congestion and pressure in my sinuses my running nose sneezing and cough and the fever. And it's a berry flavor which helps a little bit. This really got me through the night so I could get some rest.

The flavor isn't the greatest but I like the berry flavor better than other flavors I have tried. This medicine helps when you are stuffed up. We will continue to have this item as a staple in our house.
. . . like another review said. This is not good if you need to wake up to take another dose because you can't breathe. Also, are the directions wrong - from when it was 6 hrs - or you can you only use Nyquil for 16 hours out of 24?
I have to agree with some of the other reviewers on here. The old one used to get me sleepy quick and I would wake up feeling like a million bucks. This one barely affects me. Furthermore there are no dosage instructions on the bottle.
