This jacket is absolutely marvalous. Seriously. It's soooo comfortable, and I did have a slight bit of shedding from the fleece at first. After I wore it a couple of times it was just fine. I love it! I wear it everyday since the weather has gotten cooler. I'm here in TX so it's really not that cold at all and I've never bought a "heavy" winter coat, so this is great for the cooler weather but I don't think it will do where it gets really cold. My mother tried it on and loved it so much she had to have one, and then a friend of mine wanted one too, but they were out at the store already I'm so glad I found it online & on SALE! Yay! :)
I have this in black, brown and gray. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Great value; the jacket has a nice look for such a low price Looks good with jeans or with nicer pants for work True to size Washes and dries nicely with minimal shrinkage Cons: Black sheds considerably Gray sheds moderately Slight chemical smell even after one wash cycle; will hopefully fade with time
It's way too light for a coat! The inside sheds "fuzzies" even after washed several times. Overall - I don't think it's work it.
Stay away from this one. I had high hopes for this jacket, but from the beginning it was a disappointment. Most of the edges aren't finished off properly, and the fleece sheds horribly. I wore the jacket twice, and both times it looked like I'd been snowed on when I removed the garment. I washed it, and threw it in the drier hoping it would help remove the excess pilling. What a joke. I ended up with a literal handful of lint in my lint catcher and the garment is still pelted with snowy pills from the fleece. This jacket is going back.
