I bought this bag for my 8 yr old daughter to use as a book bag for school. She loves Pirates of the C. and it was nice to find something pink and girlie for her. The bag is heavy, solid canvas and large enough to fit folders and books, etc. there are two large pockets under the front flap. My daughter keeps a 16 oz water bottle in one of them. She is very happy with this bag.
this product is wonderful i use it all the time for school it is comfertable to carry around and so stylish because the movie pirates of the carrbbian is so popular so yeah

I purchased this bag to haul around my workout clothing and so far, it's held up very well. Even being a 32 year old adult, I love this sort of thing! Just big enough for my shoes, clothes and MP3 player!
The kid just loves this bag, and I have to say it does look pretty cool for a girl bag that doesn't have to be "frilly princess". However the quality of this bag is not what I was hoping. This is very cheaply made . There is just one row of stitching holding the strap that goes over the shoulder into the opening of the bag. Typically there is a couple of rows to reinforce the nylon strap. Will not take too much weight to rip it out. I'm going to have to find another bag to replace this one because I don't think it will last too far into the school year. Though it might last a while if not carrying too many heavy books. Also there is no strap thing so that when the bag gets heavy it's just going to cut into one's shoulder.
