i have really thick dry and damaged hair because of this my natural curly hair tends to frizz or just lay limp. Cantu Curl Activator does just as the name says. It activates my curls better than a perm ever done while the shae butter is the perfect moisturizer for my hair from roots to tip! 10 out of 10 i would definately recommend for any girl or woman with a head full if thick hair!

Buy this now! I used this after the Define and Shine Custard. They worked nice together to give me soft, frizz free, volumious curls! For $10 for both products its so woth getting. The smell is strong at first, but once dry it softens to a nice smell. Im a cosmotologist and have tryed the DivaCurl and other pro brands. This brand takes the cake ans is VERY affordable for washing ans using every other day! Im a fan now and its free of silicon, parabens, sulfates, and is made in the usa! Good stuff!
This is the only curl activator (dare I say staple of curl products) you'll need if you have high porosity 3b-4a hair . It is my favorite cantu product (next to the deep treatment mask) and has been a staple for years. I am not sure how well it works for curlier or less curly patterns. My hair dries itself out every other day so I spray with water , glomp this on (with leave in sometimes, and oil ) and BAM the curls are back. It's also very good for detangling. I will say if you have looser curls or thinner hair, or low porosity hair this may be too thick, but again , I think denser hair or tighter curls that are high porosity or drier will benefit from this. With this in I usually can (with water and leave in) scrunch a great deal. follow up with moose to lock in and you're good to go !

I loved this product at first, but eventually my hair started to become more frizzy than before while using it for some reason. I don't know how to manage my waves very well, but I've watched a lot of videos and I typically apply this in the shower after I've washed my hair and rung it out to prevent my hair from getting crunchy. Other than that, it smells really nice and the price isn't outrageous like most hair products.
First of all, I have thick, wavy hair that tends to get dry and frizzy. I have tried numerous curl activator creams in the past, but none of them have worked as well as this one. The first thing I noticed when applying the cream to my damp hair was the amazing scent. It has a sweet, coconut smell that is not overpowering but still lingers in my hair throughout the day. The cream itself has a thick consistency, but it is easy to spread through my hair. I only need a small amount to cover all of my curls, which is great because it means the product will last me a long time. After applying the cream, I use a diffuser to dry my hair and the results are amazing. My curls are defined, bouncy, and frizz-free. I have received so many compliments on my hair since using this product. What I love most about this product is that it is made with shea butter, which is known for its moisturizing properties. My hair feels soft and hydrated, and I no longer have to deal with dry, crunchy curls. The cream also contains no harsh chemicals, sulfates, or parabens, which is important to me as I try to use more natural and organic products. I also appreciate that this product is affordable and easily accessible. I can find it at my local drugstore or beauty supply store, and it is reasonably priced compared to other curl activator creams on the market.
This cream really helps activate my curls. I give it a 4 just because it really didn't do anything for my frizz which is also what the product is promoting. It contains a good amount of cream and smells great! I use it a couple times a week and always see a significant difference compared to other products I use. You do have to apply it evenly, because too much product in one section will harden your hair.

I love how this made my hair feel and how my curls looked but I got an allergic reaction on the back of my neck from it. Gonna have to find something else sadly
