I've bought several of these over the years. They have good range (at least 10 feet unlike a hand held taser), work against multiple targets (unlike a dart type taser) and effectively though temporarily disable an attacker. I've never had to use one on a 2 legged animal but have used it to repel 4 legged animals while jogging. i replace mine every 6 months or so and use the old one to practice effective "application".
This is a good pepper spray to use in self-defense. buy it! I feel a whole lot safer carrying this with me every where I go when it's only around my belt loop and I can easily de-attach it from my keychain whenever I need to use it. This is a product to depend on when it comes to self-defense, an attacker and a wild animal. i bought this same product for my girlfriend and she loves me for it. It's great to protect loved ones, family and friends. You will never go wrong buying this product for the family, and your lover. It even has a safety lock on it which is 100% good and smart thinking on the inventor's part. Great for camping, going for a bike ride, a walk, run, or wherever.
Don't waste your money. You won't get your money back. I bought two and none works. I called Blackhawk to complain that I have two defective devices and that Walmart doesn't refund pepper spray. Without even asking what was the problem the customer representative said: if you bought them in Walmart you have to complain to Walmart...and hang up. ! I never had a problem with the brand SABRE. I thought I was buying the same because they look the same but I can see that I was wrong.
