[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Galaxy for a few weeks now and remembered why I love my Samsung. The camera is phenomenal and can take excellent pictures. The best display anyone could ask for. My battery life is a dream! I take my phone everywhere I go! Thank you Samsung for making such an amazing device!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time Samsung fan. Used Notes a long time. After seeing S22 embracing a stylus I told myself time for a new experience. Its design, proprietary apps supporting S Pen, excellent photo video quality, Windows connectivity, DeX app make this beauty indispensable.
Phone arrived a few days ago and it has been awesome! I love the styling of the device versus the s21 ultra I traded in. Battery life has been excellent even as it learns my usage patterns. The S-pen has already come in handy to markup photos and pdfs for work. I find the screen has better viewing angles than my s21 ultra did, although I prefer the screen on my wife's s21+ by a slim margin. The speakers are excellent for media consumption. I don't do much gaming but the phone is snappy in daily use in the optimized cpu setting. I have been running in the adaptive refresh rate with WQHD+ resolution.
I was bummed about the wait but honestly it was worth it! The graphite Samsung exclusive is beautiful I fell in love with Samsung messing with my girlfriends Note 20 ultra so I ditched my I phone and got the s21 ultra and just got the s pen with the case. It wasn't bad with the case but I really wanted the square look of the Note and I didn't want the added bulk of a s pen case. I was pumped when the s22 ultra was officially announced and I hurried and purchased the white one without even looking at the other colors I saw the graphite a week later on the website and I canceled my original order. The wait was longer but I'm so glad I waited. If you have the s21 ultra and are thinking about upgrading I personally feel it's worth it. It just feels like the s21 is an unfinished hybrid. However, only do this if you have the money to blow on a phone because performance wise not much difference my decision was primarily about esthetics.
I bought this phone after dealing with my slow and buggy A30s which I bought in 2020. The first impression was amazing. I liked the box and the phone was presented in a fashionable way. However, after applying my case and screen protector, I noticed two things. The first thing I noticed was that the battery was draining fast. I let it sit overnight and it lost around 35%. My A30s could've done better. However, after looking at my battery page in settings, I noticed an app was using up a lot of battery. I set the battery usage to restricted. The second thing I noticed was the fact that the phone was getting abnormally hot. I installed CPU-Z and noticed that some thermals were reaching almost 50C. I filled out a Samsung Members error report and received a message to call Samsung. The heating isn't as bad as it was now, it's just the battery that is a little bad. Otherwise, this phone is a great phone and I would recommend it to people who are interested in itit.
Still has washed out color on sun rise and sun set shots like camera is half blind!! Moving shots blurry!!! Most of camera shots in general color is off!
I thought it was the best phone when I got it until someone started hacking it and I realized the pen has features for air control where someone can mock your location and even while in safe mode they can control it in the background accepting any terms they want without your acknowledge
This phone is one of the best in the class but the battery is worst. I have to charge twice a day and I am not a heavy user nor do games on the phone. Changed to power saving and still the battery didn't last for a whole day. When I unplugged my phone after full charge battery drained 1% a minute with sreen time and if I leave wifi on during night time, the battery drains to 30-40% in the morning. I am not sure if it needs the update (last software update Jan 1, 2022) but this is unacceptable for this expensive phone.
No SD CARD. BATTERY GETS HOT. NO BLACK AND WHITE WITH BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, OR RED ONLY PHOTOS, (like the Note 2 had) no text message read back out loud. Speed up, slow down, different accents. I loved those two features. Infrared was nice. This seems like a spy phone for big tech and lacks the little things that matter to the end user. 1 star because it can make a call. Cloud storage is a scam.
Defective screen right after 1yr expired!!!! Im still paying it off! All of a sudden a black blob appeared around the front camera... its a blob of dead pixels thats expanding outwards. Quick google search found many people with the same problem. Unfortunately mine happened right after 1 year warranty expired. Never buy a samsung again. I still owe around half price of phone as this was on a 2 year payment plan. Worst experience ever. Phone has been babied Nd never dropped.
