We purchased the enclosure along with the trampoline for our kids for Christmas. After getting it all put together in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve, we were very happy with it. We have 6 kids along with thier friends jumping on a daily basis and we haven't had any problems. The encloser keeps them all in safely!
This was one of the best purchases we've made in years. It's a SUPER buy for the $$$! We brought the combo kit with the enclosure & it's extremely safe, no gaps, so kids can't fall out or get caught on springs. Our whole family has put it to the test! Rain or shine we spend hours jumping on our trampoline. My husband (who weighs 240) has used the enclosure netting to save himself when a back flip went a little out of control. Very sturdy! NOTE: You will need a second person to help you complete the assembly of the enclosure (the top of the archs is too high and heavy for one person to due this comfortably by theirself).
Several family members went together to get this for two of my great grandchildren, ages 3 & 19.5 mos., for Christmas. They LOVED it! It took a while to get put up, as it was being done by car headlights in a chlling West Texas wind. All in all, it didn't take but about 4 hrs. with the environment and 3 people working on it. It was very much worth it. The girls are having a grand time and hearing their laughter and giggleing screams make the time and money worth it! It also lowers the energy level of two this age to a manageable level! We also got the screen to go round the trampoline and that is worth the extra money.
The enclosure is very good, safe, easy to install. The only issue with it is that the box says enclosure so you expect the net and the hardware. The only thing included is the hardware you have to purchase the trampoline too as it has the net. The box should say enclosure hardware only.
We bought the trampoline a couple of weeks ago. Was easy to assemble, even if the instructions are not very good. The quality looks good so far. Metal tubes seems to be robust enough. The screws are relatively small and not designed to disassemble and reassemble the trampoline very often. Would buy it again.
The trampoline was not too tough to put together. I was able to do most of it myself, with a little help from my wife. It did take several hours. I haven't had a lot of experience with trampolines, so I don't know how to compare this one with others, but we have had a good experience with it. Our little girl loves it. She would live on it if she could. It could be a little bigger. We wanted the 14', but it was out of stock so we got the 12'. Overall, it has been a very good purchase for us.
We purchased this and the 12' trampoline at the same time. It's a must-have for small children, and it seems to hold them in well. The only thing we recommend is that when installing this that you open it up on top of the mat and see where the ties attach to the top of the supports. The directions are a bit confusing.
This enclosure was purchased in combination with the Skywalker 12-foot trampoline. The bottom netting is attached to the spring bed, helping prevent jumpers from falling out. The netting does not encroach on the jumping surface, as with some other low-cost trampolines - notably the 12-foot trampoline sold in some Wal-mart stores (a completely different animal). This enclosure has 2 minor drawbacks. One is that the entrance closes with a zipper and latch. The zipper is susceptible to breakage, and the straps are difficult for younger jumpers to cinch. As a result, the entrance is often not closed. The top of the enclosure hangs from straps. The straps may begin to migrate down the vertical tubes after time. However, it only takes a few seconds to push these back for several more hours or days of jumping. This enclosure, when purchased with the 12-foot Skywalker trampoline as a "combo" is an excellent value.
Once the net is up, it does it's job beautifully, but putting it up was a different story. We had to cut some of the foam pieces to get them to fit on--not happy about that. And then there seems to be a snag that was patched up previously to shipping by the door. And one of the d-rings on the latch/lock is already rusty. Not too impressed by those things, but I would definitely reccommend the use of a safety net for young kids--ours are 4 1/2 and 2 and if they didn't have the net, we would have already ended up in the hospital I am sure!
I bought this trampolene 5 1/2 months ago, and at first I loved how the enclosure was connected to the mat and it was fairly easy to put together and the price you can't beat. It all started 3 weeks ago it started to just fall apart. Granted I have to kids 2 and 8, but they are really not that ruff on it. First the zipper on the enclosure broke we tried for days to try and get it back on. Then about a week later the mat around the springs just start shredding everywhere. I can understand it getting worn around where they get in, but not on the sides and back where nobody walks on. We thought oh no big deal we can always get another one, it can not be that expensive, so I got online and the pad itself was $89.03. I almost had a heart attack. Then the next week 3 of the straps that hold the enclosure up on the poles snapped so for time being we tied it back up with string, but By this time I am thinking this is a piece of junk. I called Skywalker, you have to leave a message, they called me back the next day. I told her my problem and she put me on hold a minute later she comes back and sayes I am sorry but the warrenty on those items are only 90 days after your purchase, but you can go to our website and purchase parts. I said maam by the time I purchase another enclosure and pad I could have almost bought a whole new trampolene. Can you tell me that if I buy these items 6 months from now I will not be in the same postion. No maam I can't I am sorry. I just hung up. To sum the story up, before I had this trampolene we had a Hedstrom for 5 years and yes the pad did start to tear, but it was 2 1/2 years later. You pay more for a Hedstrom but beleive me it will be worth it in the long run. Thanks for reading!!
