Not a piece of luxury luggage but excellent quality for the price. Wheels pivot well, material is substantial and will last, and the handle is sturdy and not wobbly at all as the handles so often are on bargain luggage. Useful exterior pocket space too. Overall, I'm very pleased.
This was a warranty replacement for the same bag purchased a year or so earlier. The front pocket had torn so Swissgear agreed to replace it. The process took quite a while but they did back their warranty and provided an exact replacement bag.
This was to replace a medium size checked bag that I used for worldwide travel since 2016. Infinitely better and more user friendly. Same size as the old. I especially like the four casters (my old one only had 2). I can walk down a concourse and roll it beside me instead of having to drag it. Also, I paired it with a Swissgear laptop backpack, and I would HIGHLY recommend the combo. And the 5 year warranty is added insurance for Baggage Gorillas.
The roominess, various pockets, and the ability to expand makes this the Best Luggage I have ever used! The ease in navigating this luggage through crowds at the airport, really tops it off.
This is actually the 2 piece of luggage from Swissgear that I own. Loved the bigger 29 in , but wanted one a little bit smaller. This one is perfect. Just the size I wanted. Previous one has traveled international and held up perfectly!
Really well designed, and with good, quality materials. The wheels are tough and very maneuverable. The color is AMAZING - understated and yet professional looking. The pull handle is a tad flimsy, but not enough to not warrant buying one. Compartments are plentiful. Easy to lift and carry on end or sides. Really nice piece of luggage for the price.
I am an over packer for every trip. Went to Italy last month and needed to downsize on my huge suitcase so I bought this one. It was roomy for a medium size bag and easy to pull in the streets and airports. Love it!
We bought two pieces of Swissgear luggage previously at different times over the last several years and have been very happy. Naturally we wanted to continue to match when we decided that we needed another piece. Although the last model we purchased is apparently no longer made we tried to match it as closely as possible with another piece of the same size and color. Unfortunately, we're somewhat disappointed as the new piece is slightly smaller (enough to notice) and appears to be made more cheaply. That, of course, will be played out after several uses. The color does match well. Overall what we bought is okay but, not quite up to what we expected.
Bought this on sale. The product I reviewed the wheels were terrible the suitcase would not roll straight. Based on the condition the suitcase was received in, I suspect I was sent someone else's return. In the end I returned the suitcase but would not purchase online. Go to a local store and inspect yourself.
I have bought this spinner twice. The first was in 2023. The wheel broke when we were in Italy. We again bought the exact same spinner in May. When we were in Texas the zipper on the main compartment broke and came apart!! I don't think we will buy another!!! 😞
