Great performance / and quality is better than the $4000 pair. II like the way they hide up in your ear. II might be 64 years old !! But when Im sharp dressed I look 45. I feel confident, not having the other ones hanging on ears.
I am so thankful I ordered this for my husband. Sometimes I felt like I was going to lose my cool when the TV was blaring so loud I could hardly think. This was a gift and he opened it on Christmas Eve. He tried them the next day. It has been an amazing change! He can hear so much better, and I can sit with him and watch TV without complaining that it is too loud. Two of our grandchildren come here to do their virtual online classes. It has been difficult with the TV so loud, even though they are in another room, I had to ask him to cut down the volume so they could do a "google meet". I can't wait to see their reaction when they see the TV so low. He has worn them faithfully every day since he got them and he is so pleased with them. Thank you so much!
After having lost my one $2400 hearing aid, I researched for a less expensive alternative. Luckily I came across the HA-1800. I have to say that it works better than the expensive one ever did. My wife doesn't have to repeat herself 3 times before I can understand what she is saying. I would highly recommend this product. I'm planning on buying one for my left ear.
I'll give this hearing aid 5 stars for value an 4 for versatility. This is a high quality device that does more than just amplify sound. Though it is not tunable, it is well-suited for my high frequency hearing loss. it fits well in the ear and the volume level is easily controlled by finger tapping. I bought just one of these as a back-up for my prescription hearing aids which are sometimes in the shop for repairs. It definitely improves my hearing when one of the others is malfunctioning. Batteries are very small and only last me about 3.5 days. The battery door/holder looks like it would be easy to break. You get 3 soft domes of different sizes with each device. Recommended replacement period is once a month. New domes cost $10 for a pack of three of whatever size you need. I believe this same company offers a behind the ear model that is tunable and has blue-tooth capability for streaming from phones and TV's etc.
Simple solution for better hearing. Easy to use and works great for my wife. She just wears one, in the ear that has the hearing loss. Now she can hear normal conversations and TV at a reasonable level. Batteries can last a week if you remember to pull the battery out before going to bed at night.
Amazing!!! I broke down in tears when I put this in my ear for the first time. I couldn't afford the thousands of dollars they were wanting for a hearing aid and the cheap $30.00 ones didn't work. This hearing aid is life changing. Don't be afraid to purchase!!!
It does what it said it would do. It is at least as good at amplification as the $5000 pair. I should and will buy a second one for my left ear. Where it is deficient is comfort which is understandable because it is not custom fit to the individual ear. After about 30 minutes, you hardly notice it. Overall it does a good job.
These are not real hearing aides, they are amplifiers. But they are adequate amplifiers. I bought them to wear when I am using a face mask because they do not get tangled up in the straps. While they do help you to hear, I would not recommend them for daily use. They are not tuned to your needs, they merely make sounds louder. If that is what you want, then this is your product. Much cheaper than hearing aides.
My husband has been trying to adapt to the device. The problem is it picks up all the noise around very loud so loud that blocks the voices close to him. I will like to return it. It i s too expensive.
The rubber earpiece for comfort became lodged in my ear I had to go to the doctor to have that removed and because of that it caused such a terrible ear infection I have to take an antibiotic, The whole reason I got this product was because I have little to no hearing and now with the damage it has caused it will most likely be worse. If I could give this product zero stars I would.
