Love this Chair! My second purchase for 2 different locations. With my weight at 420, this gives me plenty of sitting space while being comfortable at the same time. If you are a big person, don't hesitate.
The chair is great and works like a dream. The only problem is with the setup since I had to apply alot of pressure to make the arm rest holes to line up between the seat and back. Once everything was together and the bolts tightened it works and feels great but the setup leaves me wondering if they realize how difficult it is to setup this chair by yourself.
After 2 joint replacements I like a chair that sits a little higher which this chair does and handles my weight as well. Comfy enough to get me in trouble in the office if I’m not careful.
I love this chair; visitors always compliment it. I named her Big Nina. She's a strong girl.
The chair is nice and it does fit my six foot three inch height and my 310lbs weight. I honestly do not know how this chair could fit a 500lb person. If your over 350 or any taller than six foot four I do not see how this chair could work for you. It is a well built solid comfortable chair. It works for my height and weight. I just feel it is over advertised saying for a 500lb person. That's why 4 stars.
Easy to assemble. Seat is not quite wide enough or long enough for me. Additionally the arms come to far forward limiting your ability to spread legs. The lock to keep the chair from leaning back does not hold the chair locked. Good news is cushion is great and allows for comfort.
As others have said- you have to apply a LOT of pressure to get the arms aligned. I noticed after putting together and sitting in it that it didnt provide any lumbar support because it didnt "sit up straight". I disassembled the entire chair and put it back together again thinking it was an error on my part. Nope. Still no lumbar support. Had to spend more money to purchase a lumbar pillow for support. For the price of the chair this should not be an issue. If lumbar support is necessary for you, don't purchase.
The chair is as described. Assembly is simple, but the chair still seems to be leaning to one side. On the back of the seat there is a slice from what appears to be a blade. It looks like the chair was cut during the packaging process. The chair is functional, but probably not worth the hefty price tag.
Either this chair is not extra wide or they sent me the wrong one because this is just a normal chair. I don't understand why the chair would have a 500lb weight limit but be the same width as a normal chair. I ordered this chair because of the weight limit and "extra wide" seat advertisement. I am 6'5 380 and I am at my computer roughly 12hrs a day because of work and hobbies. I usually buy like $100 chair and use it until it gives up after about 6 months or so. I wanted one that would last longer and be more comfortable so I searched around and found this. Costs more but its just as terrible as the others. If your a smaller frame person then this will work for you. But if you are on the larger side just find something else because as I sit here and type this the circulation in my thighs is getting cut off.
First and foremost, before you purchase this chair, know that this same chair design has been manufactured for years under multiple different brands. I have this exact same chair, and when I purchased a new one from Walmart, I was 1000% sure I actually received a KNOCKOFF. The padding and stuffing in this chair is so sub-par, it won't last you longer than 3-6 months. I firmly believe the manufacturer of these items has purposefully done this during the covid year to take advantage of anyone buying these as a work from home person. They will last one year, you'll go back to work, and throw this chair out. DO NOT BUY if you want QUALITY. This is so far from quality and so different from the original one I have, I called out Walmart for selling a fraudulent version/product. I promptly received a refund.
