I am a cell phone novice and this phone was easy for me to start using right away. In the area I live many phones wont get signal but I havent had any problem making or taking calls or texts. I do have a little problem with the keyboard but I used a stylus and all is good.

I purchased this phone in a 50% off sale and so I cannot say enough about the value for the dollars. It may not be an iphone, or a Galaxy III, it is a cute little phone that more than meets my limited needs. The only negative I can find in it is that the battery life is not very long. I am always charging it. Other than that, it's awesome!

My review is for the Huawei Ascend II, which is the phone pictured, but is misspelled on the WalMart site. This is my first smart phone, so I may not know what I'm missing, but it seems to do everything I need it to do... most of the time. Even though the site assured me I would get a signal at my home, I don't. Honestly, finding a signal for it is the only problem I've had- everything with the phone itself is great. It takes great pictures and videos and it's easy to load new apps on it. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

I really like this phone - reasonably priced with all the features of the more expensive droids! The only things I have noticed is that I have to recharge every night - probably due to app use and there is not alot of storage so you may want to get a larger sd card.

Before I bought this phone i looked at all the ones that were available at the stores close to where i live. when i bought this i knew that it wasnt going to be an att phone but i didnt know that it was a sprint one... i live out in a very wooded area and sprint does not get out to were i live if i am in my house... I have to go out and stand in the middle of my yard if i want to talk to someone. but seeing as i spend more time texting that is not a big deal to me. The only other problems that i have with it is that the battery is always running low, even when i just text on it. this is the first straight talk that i have every owned and the first pay as you go i that i have ever owned as well. so far it is a good phone it just needs longer battery life.

The phone looks good and works if walmart would be accurate about where it works. Check on the straight talk website before ordering to make sure that you will have service.

I was hoping that this would be a bit better than my Sprint phone and service, but it is just about the same. It takes quite a while to download apps. Such as about 14 hours to download the Facebook App. Not sure why, bc that was the first one I downloaded. I am on the fence on whether I like it or not. I know my 17 year old daughter would not want it. I do lots less with my phone that others though.

I live in Northern NY, this phone is just horrible. Has minimal reception, unless you are in a very highly populated area. The battery does not last long (have to charge it twice every day). The volume and vibrations aren't loud enough for anyone to hear them. The touch-screen is junk and doesn't work half the time (I use an iPod touch and have no problems with that at all). It does have a decent camera on it I will admit, but that is the only plus I can think of for this phone. Just a very disappointing phone all around. Returned it within a few days. I'll stick with Samsung next time.

This phone is horrible. I had it less then two days and could not wait to return it. It only has like 132 mb of memory so as soon as you get close to that it shuts down to where you have to do a factory shut down and it causes you to lose everything.

Problems from the start

I had major trouble porting my number and was without phone service for a while. In addition, i was on hold almost 3 hours trying to get straight talk to correct the issue. I kept being transfered to different departments and each transfer has a 30 min hold. For this reason, i will not be staying with this service. The phone keeps locking up and sometimes will not dial a number nor does it do call waiting. The signal is always low and the battery dies after about 1 hour talk time. i am going to return it.
