Made of plastic. Easy to assemble. 18 inch Journey, Next Generation, and American Girl dolls can fit with slight bending at the neck. This size doll does not lay flat. My ten year old daughter likes this doll bed despite the larger dolls not being able to lay completely flat. Cost was $18. This was a great deal for a doll bunk bed .
Bought this for my 6 year old and she absolutely loves it..big enough to fit most of her dolls. Would definitely recommend. Very easy to put together..she did most of it.
bedding that comes with it is very thin, so I bought a receiving blanket so the doll can be covered up--is a little big, but it will work. ladder has a tendency to pop off, but don't think my granddaughter will mind--just easier access to bottom bed.
Bought this for my 6 yr old for Xmas. Her 18" doll does not lay flat completely but it works for now. Can't beat the price, though. Very cute bunk bed. If you are not picky about a PERFECT fit, then this is a good buy.
I bought this for my daughter to use with her American girl doll but I am going to have to return it. The description says the length is 19" which led me to believe that her 18" doll would fit but she doesn't. All in all it is a cute bunk at a great price, but it will not work for us.
I just received this bed today, very fast delivery but this was suppose to fit my daughters American Girl doll. Well No this does not fit, the doll can not put her feet all the way down. This was part of her Christmas list. Super disappointed , but great for any smaller doll.
Pieces didn't snap together very well and the ladder had heart shaped holes on the bed and round pegs on the ladder and were supposed to snap together. Ladder kept falling out of the holes. Since it was for Christmas didn't have time to replace it. It is "OK" for a young toddler but doesn't appear to be very sturdy so it probably won't last long. Next time I will play more and buy a better quality doll bed
We were looking for a bunk bed for my daughters American Girl dolls. We found the one we wanted but it was sold out everywhere. My wife found this and a reviewer said that she had purchased it for daughters American girl doll and it worked perfectly. I was skeptical because I said it wasn't long enough. I was right it isn't long enough for American Girl dolls. They fit but they can't lay flat. My daughter likes it and doesn't want us to return it but to me it doesn't fit American Girl dolls. To be fair it never said that's what it was for so I can't blame anyone. I just believe that most people will most likely be buying it for the American Girl dolls and I want you to know they don't fit properly.
The beds are big enough for the Bitty Twins. They seem sturdy enough for limited play. Our package did not have the two pieces that go in each bunk to place the doll on. Very frustrating on Christmas Eve!
Very cheaply made. I bought this on sale for what I thought was a good price. Its not even worth $5.00. You could probably find this at your local flea market for cheaper.Blankets and pillows feel like they're made of paper. The bottoms of the beds where the dolls lay are just pieces of cardboard. Spend an extra $10-$20 and get something with a lot better quality.
