I bought my 55 in tv back in late 2016 and it still runs great.....had a hisense that lasted 6 months and just bought one for the bedroom.......thanks for making a quality tv.....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV two months ago and like the fact that you don't need an external Roku device - the tv is the device! However, during this time frame the Roku channel has evolved and not in a good way. For the first month, you would see the commercials count down from a max. of two minutes to zero but the next month the countdown would sometimes start at 2 minutes and 15 secs or more and the countdown would run beyond that and show political or psas - irritating. And now they have elected to cover part of the screen with an ad if you mute or pause the program and the image sometimes stays on when the program continues - blocking out much of the right side of the screen. Tonight that persisted for over twenty minutes and the progress bar at the bottom of the screen came on with it! Needless to say that the program became unwatchable. It's a nice basic tv that appears to be perimeter lit and capable of average at best contrast and adequate volume but when you change programs, expect to adjust volume also. If you have a Roku device and account, your streaming services will be activated on this tv during setup - that is nice. We'll have to wait to see what the future holds!
This is by far the worst tv i have ever seen. Have to reset the channels everytime i want to watch it. The remote doesn't work properly. The sound is awful. The picture is pathetic. Worst electronic purchase i have ever made
After removing my old TV and setting this one up we realized the screen was horribly cracked. Since it was a Black Friday deal, no more were available to replace it so we missed out on the deal entirely.
