First and, in my opinion, most important was the customer service. I had placed this order on the Asus website with no issues. My order went to verification status and stayed that way for a few days. My patience was thinning out and just before I made the call, the customer service from Asus actually reached out to me. Shocking since most customer services are reactive instead of pro-active. Yes they could have reached out sooner but the fact that they reached out was impressive. Now for the product itself...I could not be more satisfied with this router. I had spent about 6 months researching and trying to figure out which one i should upgrade to. In the end I knew that it would need to be wifi 6 or better. This router met that requirement and I am also able fully utilize my gig internet speed. I have 6 people in my house and all have devices that connect to the network. With my old router, some devices would drop and cause frustration, but with this router we have not had any issues with having to many devices connected at the same time. The app could use some modifications such as a MAC filtering option, but the user interface is very clean and easy to use. Overall, I am very satisfied with this router and recommend it to anyone upgrading from wifi 5 to wifi 6.
I upgraded to the AX6000 from a Netgear Nighthawk router. The nighthawk served me well for 3 almost 4 years, but i decided that i needed an upgrade. I use internet speeds that were approaching the limits of its capabilities. I looked and looked for a replacement and decided on the AX6000. It checked all the boxes, and let me tell you. It DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. By far the best router i have ever used. The range is exceptional. Much better than any router i have previously used. And im getting even faster speeds over WiFi than before. With the larger bandwidth of WiFi6, i notice fewer slow downs over WiFi with everyone on at once. Overall, i would highly recommend this router. Not only to gamers, but to anyone looking for an upgrade. Specifically to WiFi6.
It works fantastic. It was easy to install and use as well.
I'm a firm believer in get what you pay for ,I've bought many brands over 40+ years from atari to dream cast to odyssey to ses and on and on , I'm glad to see their is still 1 company out their that takes me back to the feeling of real metal transformers and feeling like you got real quality. That's how I feel with asus products. You pay a little upfront but what you get is that feeling of real quality not plastic and paint and hope it last to the next model . I've bought 3 gaming laptops 2 routers 5 tablets the Spartha x mouse , headsets , earpods , Bluetooth keyboards and more. And as much as I would love to be sponsored simply because of the product . But everything I've had I bought so trust me you won't be disappointed. Asus is a A+ company with quality.
This router is amazing hands down. I bought an Amplifi Alien router less than a year ago which was double the price and it has been nothing but problems and was severely limiting my internet speeds so I purchased this router and the difference in overall performance is astounding. I highly recommend it to anyone looking if you can find one.
Nice. Router. Easy to use. Kinda pushy about reviews
It is good for anyone who is looking for better WiFi coverage and speed. Not too complicate to configure. Multiple VPN server and client built-in for privacy protection and media streaming.
Awesome router great range and I get the speeds I paid for. Complaints it's not WiFi 6e or WiFi 7
Looks awesome though it would have been better if the antenna's lit up, sweet speeds and lots of control. I really have no complaints so far other than the antenna's. It was a good addition to the rest of our ROG stuff.
Got this router with high expectations since it was very highly rated but was disappointed with its performance for the price that I paid. Devices got disconnected next day. User interface can get too confusing for non technical users. No gain in coverage even with the bigger antennas. Loved the router design and the cool lights though.
