Perfect addition to the Italian Countryside collection. The scale of the bowls and the shape make them everyday essentials for us, and we use them for cereal, soup and salad.
Again I am completely amazed with the 12 bowls I purchased. They are more then I expected as well with all of Mikasa dishes I have owned in the past, which have been all the years of my marriage of are 43 years. Yes thank you for your continued product.
These are lovely bowls. They are large, but that just makes them useful for many things. I use them all the time now.
We have always loved Mikasa. These bowls are no exception. They are good for everyday use and elegant enough for special occasions. They've held up well and get dishwashed frequently and stacked back in cabinets and have proven chip and crack resistant. Also a nice size, roomy enough to hold plenty and not spill or splash around while transporting.
Just received these bowls the other day. They are the perfect size for cereal and for soup. I think they are a must have and would definitely recommend adding these to your dinnerware!
We bought a set of these bowls 3 years ago and use them almost everyday. They are perfect for pasta, soup, chili and to serve smaller servings of veggies and/or starch. Unfortunately, since we use them so much, one started to crack, so I ordered another set.
These are great bowls. They are beautiful...but they are not quite what I expected. They are labeled "cereal bowls" so I expected them to be a little smaller. Yes, the dimensions were published online, but they still seem large for the purpose. I already had enough soup bowls that we were using for cereal. I love these bowls, I love the shape, I am keeping them...but I will probably buy some smaller bowls to get our cereal portions more realisitic.
I was replacing cereal bowls from my 15 year old set. These new cereal bowls are much bigger than the ones in my old set. These seem better suited to a large salad or entree size soup or pasta. I returned them and have ordered "soup" bowls which I hope will be 5.5" - 6" instead of 7". I love my Mikasa and it has worn well over the years. Unfortunately the cereal bowls didn't stand up to my kids!
When they arrived I noticed the difference on the pattern because I had one bowl left from previous set, although the same style it was less stamped, not as defined, not thrilled about it
One of my two “four pack” of bowls arrived with only three bowls. I called immediately to report and was told that a replacement would be shipping immediately. Now, close to four weeks later, I still wait even after placing a second call for followup. This is Not good customer service especially since you have a superior product!
