Really took care of the draft from my older windows. Highly recommend.
We have new windows on our house, but we still had a draft in the winter time. We bought these insulator kits and they made a huge difference. They are easy to install, not flimsy, and they don't tear when you are placing them. You can still see out of your windows, and it cuts down on heating expenses. I would definitely recommend them.
Didn't make a huge difference. Maybe made the room a few degrees warmer, but I live in Minnesota, so that's not much
I bought several patio door insulation kits and I have never experienced this before. I CAN NOT remove the backing off the tape. I was hoping to get this project done and I couldn't even get the first one started. I am very frustrated. I have used kits like these for years and have never had this problem. I spent the extra money to 3M due to good reviews and now I'm dead in the water and can't use this nice day to get these windows done. Maybe a bad batch of tape this year!? Now I have to waste more time and money to go buy new rolls of tape. I am very unhappy about this.
I always buy 3M window Insulator plastic for my windows. But this year they must have changed the formula for the tape. IT IS AWFUL. Fortunately I had some leftover tape from previous years, but buyer beware if you don't have other tape.
Installed on Sunday in 70 degree weather on 5 windows. Tuesday night rain and film from 3 windows gone. Double sided tape does not work. Only purchase if no rain expected all winter
Been using 3M for 20 years this year tape does not hold fiLm, total crap. Way to go 3M your value engineering has ruined your product and your reputation.
This was horrible. I think with 2-3 people we could have gotten it installed better. It was just me. Plus you need either a big table or large floor to lay out the film so you can measure and cut. And it rips easily.
Two sided tape old and dried out. No good. Can't use it
