I used the Lucas Real Octane boost racing formula today and installed it into my Harley which has a high compression motor. The Lucas Octane boost eliminated the spark knock pinging that I was experiencing when I would ride. It in turn increased the performance. It is for use on 4- stroke motors that needs a higher octane then the standard pump gas. It also has a upper cylinder lubricant that helps with piston travel and valve seats. All and all very happy with the Lucas racing formula octane boost.
I used this octane booster in my Kubota tractor because it was hesitating and acting sluggish. I noticed it was idling smoother and the hesitation went away. It works fast! It comes in a large 15oz. bottle that treats up to 25 gallons of leaded and unleaded gasoline. It is easy to use, just fill up tank and add booster.
always buy Lucas Oil products, they never let me down. Yeah, your gonna pay a few more dollars (at times) compared to other brands but its worth every penny (trust me), been using their products for YEARS. It improves performance in my Ford Mustang time and time again. Increases octane rating and gives more power. Will be using this bottle before I put her away (my mustang) and take a few rides. *****STARS ALL THE WAY!!!
I have used Lucas brand products and this octane booster for years. It never fails to perform as stated on the container. The octane booster is great for older vehicles. If you get water in the gas or build up it helps to smooth out the engine, and help with the mileage. It's definitely good for preventative maintenance. Also if you have a high performance older car that requires a little bit higher octane, this will help.
I used Lucas Oil 10026 Fuel Treatments, Octane Booster in my 2008 Ford Fusion. My car was slow to take gas and occasionally cut out. After using the Lucas Oil 10026 Fuel Treatments, Octane Booster the car was able to take gas faster and quit cutting out. The bottle says it can be used with every fill up and it works good enough that I think it's well worth the money. My car was used when I bought it, and after using Lucas Oil 10026 Fuel Treatments, Octane Booster I am very happy with my car. This is a great item to be used by every car owner!
I have been using Octane boosters for decades when I cannot find racing fuel. I have owned many classic cars from 1970 Dodge Challenger to 1969 Camaro Z28. This product works great in high compression engines that need a higher octane rating to avoid detonation and pinging. Its easy to add to your car. You just pour it into the fuel tank and fill with gas. It gets mixed in while adding the fuel. You don't need this on cars designed to run on 87 octane but if you have a car that needs premium gas and its not available you can add this to boost up the octane. Lucas oil makes great racing products and is very involved in the racing community so I have found that I can trust their products.

I was a bit skeptical about getting this oil bottle because I practically never touched the internal networks of my car besides filling gas. I gave this item a try due to its overwhelmingly positive reviews and I was surprised how easy to use this product. The oil is compatible with 4-stroke car engines only, which most of the gas-filled engines are nowadays. First, you need to push your remaining gas down to the lowest level you can without running out of gas completely in order to start filling from an almost clean tank. Next, pour the entire bottle, as directed on the bottle, then fill the rest with fuel. This oil is advertised to smoothen and strengthen the car engine to provide the passengers with a greater driving experience. My 2017 car is still relatively new so I actually didn't feel much difference using this oil except for a slight performance upgrade in terms of ignition and turning. Overall, I think it's a promising product for 4-stroke engines out there especially one that is on the older side and needs a quick boost.
The Lucas Oil Fuel treatment seemed to work OK. I did have to wait until I had an empty fuel tank to be able to put it in. That was part of the directions to make it mire effective. The bottle size 15 oz and it was to help boost my fuel mileage. I do believe it had helped the fuel mileage of my truck. I saw a difference between my usual 15 mpg to just about 18 or a little over. I believe that it is because I do a lot of city driving and not highway driving. This one 15 oz bottle treats up to 25 gallows of fuel. It is safe for any gasoline engine. I believe it would have worked great if I drove more highway miles. I am by no means against this product and I do recommend it! I did make sure to read about this before putting it in our vehicle. It is safe for turbos, oxygen sensors and catalytic converters. It is also suitable for use in fuel infected and carburetor engines. I received this fuel treatment for no cost in return for my honest review. I also asked my husband if this was something that he could see himself buying and he said most definitely yes!
I wasn't sure about how these products worked. Id heard about boosters when I was younger but hadn't thought much about them lately. I usually use gasoline that has cleaners etc. and thought that was enough. I noticed lately that the quick spunky feeling my car gets on a new tank of gas wasn't lasting as long so I thought id try this product. It definitely made a big difference. I could still tell the difference in my cars pick up down till almost half a tank. I think I just got used to difference after that. I'm going to try it again just to be sure that it wasn't a fluke or a placebo in my mind but I don't think so. FYI, my first ride after refilling my tank with the booster was on a 56 degree morning.
