It is a heavier weight hydraulic oil. I am using it in older machinery to minimize seepage from cylinders and valve body. Also minimize oil bypassing when hot.
Its cheaper. Besides its strong and keep Hydraulic system in good performance. Note we operated a waste removal company
The price is a gift from heaven. My excavator needs 85 gallons of oil, and this is half cost of any others. Imported but my patriotism stops around a 50% discount. Anyone in a warm region should use this, but the 46 is can work too. Main thing is viscosity at 40 and 100 centigrade. Compare that to your machines desired fluid.
This is a good qualaity oil for our hydraulic pump.
