I purchased this bedrail at least a year ago and have been very pleased. I added a second twin bed for the upcoming grandkids and did not hesitate purchasing another Summer Infant bedrail. I have had no problems with the rail. I purchased this one because I wanted a longer rail. The rail installs easily and locks into place and is secure. My two year old grandsons as well as the three year old have had no issues with the rail.
I use the rail for my father he tries to get out of bed. This rail prevents him from doing it. thank you Walmart for this product! This is the second side rail that I purchased.
Super tight along side the bed and doesn't move an inch. The second one I've bought so far. Easy assembly and set up

Because I nurse at night very frequently my baby sIeeps with me so I purchased this for my queen size bed. I have another bed rail for my 4 year old's bed and it ripped and has a large gap. This bed rail does not, which is great. It is also durable (The other one I purcahsed is ripping in certain areas.
It was longer then I imagined it being once on the bed. I am very pleased with the quality, and we have had no problems. My daughter loves her big girl bed!
This bed rail was easy to set up and is more sturdy than I expected. I like the fold-down option that keeps the rail out of the way when we're not using it. It works with either a box spring or a platform bed (mattress straight on the slats), which is nice. I also like that it's plain white and blends with the bed's white sheets!
unfortunately I had to return it because it was too short. Otherwise it was easy to assemble and sturdy.
It does it's job, but unless you have a box spring you won't need the fold down feature. The strap that goes underneath the mattress broke during installation. I bought 2 and I can't fold them down to change the sheets ... I didn't return them only because we suffered to put them on and I needed the rails for my 2 yr old to sleep that night without us worrying he was going to fold down out of the bed.
We were happy with this bedrail until our daughter was unexpectedly sick and threw up in bed. The cover for the bedrail is NOT removable and we had to throw the whole thing away since we couldn't clean it. I contacted the company and they offered us a 30% discount on a replacement but I would not buy it again when it can't be washed. Anything used for kids in proximity to beds should be able to washed, in my humble opinion.
