The kit requires you have a phone or iPad to engage in VR-it’s a little scary having my son use my phone. But for the price and the rest of the materials it’s worth it. My son uses it frequently and talks about it with friends, grandparents, teachers. It has enriched his STEM education. Would buy again.

Unfortunately thie Kits I ordered for my grandchildren weren’t for them. The process for returning them was not easy but what was most annoying was that I didn’t get a full refund. I asked why I didn’t and haven’t got a reply. I asked earlier this week and haven’t received a reply. I paid $95.98 US for 2 kits that have been returned. I was refunded $81.59 US (In Canadian I paid $130.27. My refund was $109.87) I certainly don’t plan on recommitting Abacus to anyone. Peggy MacIntosh

Bought this for my son for Christmas. The instructions to make the volcano are bare minimum and the plaster product that you nix together (per the instructions) is to thin and leaks out of the mold. The paints were hard and dried up as well. I’d ask for a refund but they won’t refund without the original product and we’ve used half the things already. So disappointed.
I never leave a negative review but this was such a disappointment. Ordered it for my son's birthday. The app is useless this the VR interaction. So I got a box of science experiments that anyone can do. Worst part is I got it early in anticipation and am now three days over the return window. Guess I'll learn for next time.
