The Marantz PM6007 2-Channel Integrated Amplifier is an upgraded successor of the PM6006. Features current feedback circuitry and a high-capacity power supply to drive even the most demanding speakers. The Current Feedback amplifier technology provides wide-bandwidth and high-speed sound reproduction, while the HDMS-SA3 delivers more dynamic, accurate and detailed sound. The PM6007 features A and B speaker outputs, for two sets of stereo speakers, or for bi-wiring with compatible stereo speakers, 5-line audio inputs, along with a headphone amplifier jack on the front panel, and the high-grade speaker connectors. Features high resolution D/A conversion which provides up to 192 kHz/24-bit resolution for optimum fidelity with high resolution audio file types. This stereo amp has a tone control function and a loudness feature that boosts the bass and treble response at low volume levels to achieve a more pleasing tonal balance. The Source Direct function bypasses unneeded circuit stages (such as the tone controls) for the most direct audio path from input to output. This unit is equipped with a remote power control function and easy setup guidelines so that you enjoy immersive music in just minutes

Marantz PM6007 Stereo integrated amplifier with built-in DAC Marantz has been making this type of rugged, versatile integrated amp for years now, but they never rest on their laurels. The PM6007 builds on the legacy of its predecessors, upgrading the built-in 24-bit/192kHz digital-to-analog converter to ensure accurate, detailed playback of digital sources. And HDAM3 analog audio circuitry delivers faster signal transfer and better transient response. The PM6007 has plenty of back-panel connections for analog sources — five stereo RCA inputs, including a dedicated phono input for turntables with moving magnet cartridges. And there are two optical digital inputs and a single coaxial digital input for digital sources. A new filter mode lets you tailor the DAC's output to suit your listening preference. Product highlights: 45 watts x 2 channels into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.08% THD 60 watts x 2 channels into 4 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) 4-ohm capability allows use with a wide range of speakers AK4490 24-bit/192kHz digital-to-analog converter for high-performance playback of digitally connected sources High-current toroidal power transformer for clean playback and smooth handling of demanding speaker loads Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM® SA3) and current feedback amplification for accuracy and control under high-drive conditions Front-panel tone control knobs (treble and bass) Source Direct mode bypasses tone controls Frequency response 10-70,000 Hz (+0dB, -1dB) Signal-to-noise ratio: 102 dB (line in), 83 dB (phono) Remote control included Detachable power cord What's in the box: Marantz PM6007 owner's manual Integrated Amplifier 68" AC power cord Remote control (RC004PMCD) 2 "AAA" batteries Owner's Manual on CD-ROM Quick Start Guide Safety Instructions Warranty Information Dimensions and warranty: 17-5/16"W x 4-1/8"H x 14-9/16"D Weight: 16.7 lbs. MM Phono Input: The Marantz PM6007 integrated amplifier features a high-quality phono stage, leveraging the newly designed circuit introduced with the Marantz PM7000N - one that integrates a FET (field-effect transistors) in the input stage. This technology delivers high input impedance, eliminates the need for AC coupling capacitors, simplifies the signal path, and lowers distortion and noise which vastly improves the overall signal purity. The phono input supports turntables with a MM (moving magnet) cartridge installed. Optical & Coaxial Digital Inputs: One coaxial (RCA) digital and two optical (toslink) digital inputs are available to connect digital devices and play back Hi-Res audio (up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM) through the PM6007's advanced audio circuitry. The complete digital section is fully shielded by an extra metal housing unit to ensure that the digital stage has no effect on the analogue signal.

I recently upgraded my old Nakamichi amp ( not at all a bad one) and T+A TLS speakers for this amp and Monitor audio bronze speakers. The effect is mesmerising. Thank you Marantz for such a fantastic product. I use it along with my NAD tuner and Yamaha CD player.
I have a home cinema Denon X3700h+Marantz MM8077 that powers 7 Klipsch speakers. I listen to a lot of music in stereo mode. The sound is amazing I love it and I thought it couldn't get any better. Until I got the Marantz pm6007... This little beast is just amazing. I know I compare an AV Receiver with a stereo amplifier but everybody told me "You don't need a stereo Amplifier, the receiver has a pretty good DAC". I'm so glad I didn't listen to them. I played a song to my Denon, and in the middle of the song I switched to the Marantz PM6007. And the sound comes alive. When the Receiver plays the song it's like I put a blanket on the speaker. But when I switch to Marantz - it's like I remove the blanket, the sound becomes more alive, more crystalline, and spatial. I love it and I strongly recommend to anyone who likes clarity in the sound
I bought the PM 6007 amp 2 weeks ago, this is my first ever Marantz & the best i have ever had, i can't get my head around that this amp only puts out 45 watts @ 8ohms (ALLEGEDLY) it is more powerful than that surely, the sound is nothing short of brilliant, it has no problem firing up my 92 dB 180 watts 8 ohm 3 way speakers, i had no idea my speakers actually sounded this great, i do recommend the PM 6007 amplifier, 5 stars, no, i'd give more if i could
I bought the PM6007 three years ago (and the CD6007 too) and it actually drives a pair of Triangle Borea BR08 floorstand loudspeakers, no problem at all with their minimum impedance of 3.3Ohm. Very satisfied of its sonic performance, the bass is full and deep, the highs are detailed, the declared 45W are enough for my 34m^2 living room, website Audio.com.pl tested it and found 64W @ 8Ohm and 81W @ 4Ohm at 0.1% THD, so better than declared. Using its optical input you can connect it to a smart TV and listen the TV audio via the external HiFi speakers, much better than a soundbar! A pity it hasn't the Bluetooth input too but I use a cheap external BT receiver with Optical out so I can use its good AK4490 internal DAC. Would be perfect if it would have the "Pre Out" + "Ampli In" RCA loopout so you can connect an external analog signal processor (e.g. an equalizer) or use the power amplifier stage to drive the main speakers in conjunction with an AVR receiver. Conclusion: I would buy it again!
I am impressed with the BIG sound this amplifier provides. I am using it in combination with an external DAC, two SVS tower speakers and an SVS sealed subwoofer. I have ordered the companion CD player although I do not play many CDs. I can hear every detail in the music streamed from Tidal and Deezer, and it has really awakened my tower speakers. Already planning on my next purchase/upgrade from Marantz down the road. Thank you Marantz for building such a wonderful amplifier!
To express my experience so far I do not know how. I want to play every album, CD or stream every artist. I know its not possible, I played Earth Wind and Fire's "That's The Way Of The World" it was sounded so warm like the first time heard it the 70's.
Sounds Great! Has plenty of bass and top end too.
Pairing the CD6007 with the PM6007 was the right decision for me. Having the ability to play LP's, CD's and even USB's provides all the options I was looking for.
Purchased the PM6007 as a replacement for my PM6005, which I gave to my son. The updates - DAC, phono stage and sub woofer input to name a few - make this an almost perfect amp for the money. It looks great with my Marantz CD player and synchs up perfectly. Paired with Elac speakers and Project turntable for a perfect little system.
I have had this for about 3 years. Mainly used as main living room amp for cable and my Pro-Ject turntable. This thing is plenty powerful and has no issues with anything, even some really old JBLs. I usually use some dual 8 references and I never turn volume over 10oclock, and it's a decent size room. Aside from being loud, the quality and clarity of the sound is great. The direct source option is awesome amd the 2 added filter for optical add some depth to the sound. This is just as good, if not better than integrated amps at nearly twice the price. Lives up to the marantz name. Very happy about this purchase and will continue to buy Marantz products.
