[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the first time we turned this TV on, I have been in awe! We left our 1 year old TV up while we checked this one out, and the difference is astounding! It has a phenomenal display with many next gen features. The colors are just amazingly rich and accurate and it has a great brightness level. The cognitive processor understands how humans see things and delivers everything in the best possible way... how cool is that?! It has low latency, and a high refresh rate of 120hz which is perfect for the latest console devices. We are enjoying gaming so much more with these features. A latest 2022 update provided options for more local dimming while in VRR mode for the games with that feature. Also perfect in a brightly lit room and showing true colors, more realistic shadows and great at motion handling which reduces blurring. Viewing angles for this TV are great for gatherings when there are multiple viewers. It has a long with the thin bezel that is complementary and sleek to just about any room. We have it hooked up to our receiver/sound system, but it also sounds amazing on its own and has Acoustic Multi Audio and Dolby Atlas. All in all I couldn't be happier with it. I've played around with it and tweaked the settings to perfection for my needs. It has so many amazing features that you just don't get with other brands. I'm definitely sold on the Mini LED technology now! Just check out these colors! Bravia on the left.
I bought this beautiful SONY tv 2 months ago and my wife and I are very happy with the purchase I highly recommend
I always enjoy Sony TV brand and this one is above and beyond…awesome 4K experience! My Sony 75” is great but 85” is just plain awesome!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV replaced a similarly priced brand and is already substantially better in picture quality, sound, responsive interface, features, and user friendly-ness. The remote is so much easier to navigate, especially for my kids, than our previous tv that needed instructions to understand how to navigate through the menus. This TV is fast- there is no delay when pressing and scrolling. The sound is one of the notable features, and I was impressed with dynamic configuration that automatically calibrates optimal sound to the places you sit in the room, just by holding the remote. The picture on the TV is great in all settings, but incredible in 4K. It is bright with vivid colors and the deepest black I've seen on a television. There is virtually no glare from lights and it has a very wide viewing angle, which was even noticed by a guest in our home. There are a lot of advanced color adjustments to customize the TV for a variety of needs. I appreciate that there is virtually every streaming app available right on the Home Screen for easy navigation and helpful shortcuts on the remote that make it easy for my kids to find their favorite shows quickly. The only negative about the app selection is that there is no option for the Spectrum app, so I cannot watch my cable subscription without connecting a bulky cable box or purchasing additional accessories that are compatible with the app. In terms of hardware, the TV has an adequate amount of inputs for using media. All of the inputs can be concealed with close-out panels which give the back of the TV a nice clean look. The close-out panels are large enough to hold and to conceal devices like a Firestick so it's not sticking out on the side, which is a huge eyesore on other televisions. Overall, it's an amazing TV that really brings my television viewing experiences to life. The quality really stands out and I know I am getting the best of the best with with purchase.
Great Tv I have 5 other TVs in the house and all of them are good but this Sony is the real deal it's a bit expensive but if you want the best picture hands down this is the winner. Wow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sony is a brand that has earned its reputation for me, releasing solid, beautiful, long lived products that I never regret picking up. So how does this Bravia XR X95K 4K HDR Mini LED TV with smart Google TV stack up? Better than advertised, absolutely! As expected, the television came well packaged, strongly buffered by heavy cardboard and film, so that when removed from the box it was pristine, nary a scratch or scuff to be found. Be prepared to have a helper when it arrives, as when boxed, the TV is nearly 150 pounds. The first thing I noted once I had it removed from the packaging was how heavy duty the feet were. That alone gave me great confidence in how Sony had constructed this television. The Bravia's feet are metal, sleek and modern, and you have two options for attaching them (something I wish I'd paid attention to from the description). The pictures I'd seen of the TV had the feet at the outer edges of the screen, probably for maximum stability, but there is an alternative…there are also inner mounting holes that you can use if you console table isn't large enough to accommodate all 75 (or around 69 horizontally at the long end) inches of this thing. Because I wasn't ready to mount the television on the wall (we are still considering where it's final home will be), I purchased a rolling cart to hold the tv, believing my current console table would be too small. Had I known about the smaller foot mount option, I would've used my original console table and saved myself a few bucks, so keep that in mind. That said, I like having the tv on a rolling cart for now, and too, it allows me to point out another feature that proves Sony is keeping even the smallest design details in mind. Like no television I've had before, Sony has provided panels that cover the cords on the back of the tv (pictured) so that the Bravia cuts a clean, tidy profile. If your Bravia is flush mounted on a wall this isn't such a big deal, but if you plan on having yours on a mount that revolves or sticks out, or on a rolling cart as ours is, this keeps everything looking sharp when you look at the tv's profile or rear. Again, this isn't a make or break feature, but rather something that tells me that the folks at Sony are innovative and leaving no potential upgrades unfinished. Which in turn gives me greater confidence for all those things I can't see under the hood (or screen in this case). So how does it function? Again, flawlessly. The picture is bright and crisp, even when viewing fast, jerky action. There are no blurry artifacts from quick pans, something I often notice on lesser televisions when watching sports like soccer or basketball. The frame rate is blazing, and when playing video games, the screen is responsive and crystal clear, the colors vibrant and clean. I have no suggestions for improving anything on this score, as I don't notice anything visually that is less than superb. Obviously the best viewing of the television is from straight in front, but the fall off on side viewing is gradual and better than expected. Its certainly clearer than any television I've previously owned, but still not perfect. What is close to perfect is the sound quality, which is better by great measure than any television I've listened to since flatscreens became the norm. I had decided that a sound bar was a requirement for flatscreens due to their slim profile and lack of large, front facing speakers, so the Bravia really surprised me by just how loud and crisp it produces sound. It isn't quite as resonate and dynamic as my dedicated sound bar, but it's pretty darn close, and given that a sound bar requires more space, more cords, and more cash, the minor improvement in sound just isn't worth it to me. And did I mention that the Bravia calibrates the sound according to your room acoustics and your usual seating arrangement?…wow, how incredible is that! The Bravia's speakers are more than sufficient to fill your living room or den with rich, deep, full sound to enrich any viewing experience. All the smart functions work as expected, and if you have any experience with those features you'll have no problem navigating the menus powered by Google. Everything is intuitive, and the remote, while on the thin side, is easy to use, and responsive. Batteries are included. I know competitors have focused on the sparseness of their remotes (something I definitely don't like), this Sony/Google remote gives you more buttons/options without going overboard. I've included a picture. Because I own other Sony products, and they've aged marvelously, I have great expectations for the life of this television. It looks sharp, both powered on and off, it's performance is outstanding, and it offers me maximum simplicity using the Google Smart features. I couldn't be happier, and I am happy to recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple wow! The technology in this TV is amazing! Google TV with Google assistant, the thousands of mini LED lights, XR backlight master drive, and the wide angle makes any seat, the best seat! The color is natural and very realistic. The audio is clear. The design is very modern and sleek. I really like the almost rimless frame around the TV. Set up way pretty easy. The TV stand has three level of heights, to choose from. My husband used it for gaming and he confirmed that he didn't notice any lag. Sony makes the best electronics, which is why I highly recommend this TV if you want to upgrade to a whole new level.
85 inches is a great size! The color is great. Would not use the Dolby color sitting as it is better using other settings including your own calibrated settings. The only real shortfall with the TV is the sound connections. I was told by the people I purchased it from that I could hook it up to my audio system and use it as a center channel. That was great, and one of the reasons I bought it. No sure luck! It is just like my A80J and has this special connection that no one can use with an audio system. Sony, why do you continue to do this? This is an expensive TV. Have a converter box or something so you can use the TV as you should be able to use it. I would like an answer to this Sony.
Started having picture that was off center and sometimes only a thin vertical line of picture was visible. Called support and they said they were aware of problem and their technicians were working on the problem. It's better but still has some picture issues when using the APPS. They extended my warrantee but have not fixed the problem.
