[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #sweepstakes The reviews didn't lie. Definitely smooth in games. My aim feels way more precise. And the colors of the game are beautiful thanks to the IPS panel. Recommend 10/10
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monitor came super fast, like 4 days after I ordered it! It came in great condition, the screen and extra parts were packaged well. I assembled the monitor within 5 minutes and it was just plug and play. I didn't know the monitor came with the flaps, it's great to block out the glare from my PC lights (it also looks super cool and professional LOL). The biggest part I love about this monitor is that holy moly the jump from my previous monitor (144hz) to this monitor (240 hz) is insane!! Quality is clear and everything is so fast. I also love that there are super clear and loud speakers because now I don't have to buy extra speakers for my setup. TOTALLY RECOMMEND :) #sweepstakes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clarity, great color and smooth transitions between frames, no ghosting at all. Love the price I got it for. Overall a great gaming monitor!
Me and all my friends love playing games on our PC's. We all have 3060's or 3070's. I never thought a monitor could make such a difference, but when I watch them play games on other monitors I am blown away how much better of an experience I am having. Seriously, if you're gaming at 1080p, I don't think there is a better monitor out there for gaming. My only mild complaint is that if I am watching a movie or tv show (which I rarely do) the blacks on the screen don't come in well with lots of artifacting. That's always so strange to me because in games with dark spaces I can see clearly!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refresh rate on this monitor is just what I needed to up my game in all my first person shooter games. I haven't owned a ViewSonic monitor in a long time. After seeing the Blur Buster stamp of approval I knew that this monitor was up to the task. For a 1080p monitor it does everything I could ask of it for my gaming needs. I like that the color accuracy is on point more so than other displays in the same category. I occasionally do video work and photo editing too. While I wouldn't use this as my main display for high volume editing work it's more than up to the task to fill in and would serve a casual user no problem. It's sleek with clean lines and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's a hard monitor to get your hands on these days for a reason. #sweepstakes
I replaced an older 1440p 27" 60hz with the XG270, and I'm extremely impressed and pleased with my purchase. My first flat panel years (and years) ago was a ViewSonic and it replaced a ViewSonic P227 21" CRT monitor I had for years prior to that - my history with ViewSonic goes back a long way, and opening the box brought back a lot of great memories. The build quality is excellent, fit and finish is solid throughout, and design and ergonomics (location of buttons / cables / etc.) are well engineered. It looks fantastic on my desk and I grin every time I see it. Performance wise, it is astonishing. I followed the Blur Buster recommendations (which makes sense, since they worked with ViewSonic to tune and certify this as the first and currently only "Blur Buster Certified" gaming monitor) and dialed in, the motion control is CRT-like (and other reviews echo this observation). It was very well calibrated for color out of the box, and looks fantastic in all the games I play - crisp image quality, fantastic motion blur control, nice and bright with solid contrast - what's not to love? Without reservation, I highly, highly recommend this monitor! WELL DONE, VIEWSONIC!
As a now former user of the ViewSonic XG2703-GS which has served me well for several years, I have to say I am very impressed with the panel they used in the XG270QG. It was a night and day difference. The AVHA panel in the XG2703-GS just can't hold a candle to the clarity, colors, contrast, brightness and uniformity I am seeing on the XG270QG. I love my XG2703-GS and it is a great monitor but this is just so much better all around. Always chasing the best looking display for my needs, I almost went with that one OLED TV that recently got G-Sync support but after weighing the pros and cons, I decided to give this a shot instead and I'm glad I did. The design of this monitor is also very welcome. I prefer the look of simplistic refinement and this monitor is the best looking one I have seen exterior wise. The RGB is nice and mellow without being in your face but can easily be disabled in the menu as well as the power indicator LED. I like the fact that I can turn both off, especially the power light. It allows me to work, game or watch video without distraction. It also has a metal stand, beautiful thin bezel, I could go on and on. They really hit it out of the park on this one. Everything worked right out of the box, put the stand together, plug in the cables, a quick calibration and I was on my way. I only had minimal and I mean minimal, back light bleed on the top left corner, no where near those notorious AVHA panels. I also had zero dead pixels. I've only had this monitor for a few hours now and it has just been an overall amazing experience. I did some gaming, worked on some digital art and watched some videos, I am extremely pleased with the results.
love everything about this monitor and would recommend to anyone but the rgb software is absolutely horrible if u dont have asus or nzxt or corsair it will not work with those would be 5 stars if rgb was friendly
It has significant losses of light, I understand that it is a problem with the panels but there are areas where the monitor cannot show the black color
Monitor was defective. Powered up, but could not connect to 2 different computers
