It's not often that I buy a product and am completely satisfied with it. It operates just as it is supposed to. It sets up easily and works smoothly. It more than meets my needs as a crocheter. I have organized my yarn stash and created portable sized cakes for projects on the go. I love it!!!
Simple to use and the results are fantastic! I couldn't be more pleased with how this has helped with my yarn storage. Winding all of my yarn and being able to hang each one on a peg board has been such a huge organizational help, not to mention how much easier it is to quickly be able to see what I have, what I don't have so the inspiration to get started on the next project is .....WoW!
Works great. Can pull yarn from center of balls with no tangles. Would recommend that the beginning "tail" starting the ball be kept very short so the center end can easily be found when ready to begin use. Directions that come with the item only give instructions on how to set it up, not how to use it but after experimenting with one or two balls, you see what works best. Have fun with it.
I am so happy with my purchase - I had seen several different people post that they were unhappy but this was a great investment for me - it is helping me clean up my yarn closet for I had so many skeins that were just getting tangled together since they were getting smaller but still very long in length or I had balled them in small balls but when use them they would roll all over the floor - this makes them set flat and can pull from the center or I can put them on one of those toilet tissue stands and use the strand on outside (which I prefer since the less yarn that is left the ball stays together instead of falling apart unlike when using from center to outer (hope that makes sense) :-) and it makes my closet look so much more organized! (well because it is!) :-) happy happy happy
I am so, SO pleased with this yarn ball winder! It is easy, and fun to use. I haven't had a single problem with it yet! Any yarn crafter would love this as a gift, or on Christmas, etc. I have used Waverly Bernat yarns, and they are smooth and soft when they come out of the winder. Get it, get it, get it!
I have a new spinning wheel, and I needed something to wind my yarn I had spun into a ball, this worked great!
If you don't go too fast or slow it's great and once you figure it out you'll love it I use mine a lot. I had a bunch of messed up small balls of yarn now they are neat and tidy. A must have for anyone who uses yarn.
I read the reviews for this item prior to my purchase. The reviews were good and I have to agree, this is a great value for the money. The winder is easy to set up and use. I didn't have any trouble using it. Although the directions that come in the box with the winder are rather vague, I did find a YouTube video which explained the process thoroughly. I would highly recommend this winder to a friend.
I cannot believe that I have not bought one of these until now. Great price and it works beautifully. I have been winding all of my yarn into center pull balls of yarn. Easy to use and to set up. Make sure that you pull out the yarn guide all the way until it snaps into place or it will keep falling down. Love this product.
I debated on going top dollar with a yarn winder. However, I had never used one. I settled on the least expensive one and have been very pleased! It winds the yarn as it says and it's very easy. My kids help me. Remember to not put any slack in the yarn or it could wind around the gears which is a headache, but it's easy to keep the tension and a steady hand. I would buy this product again and recommend to anyone!!
