I thought these were so pretty, but I often find some quality is compromised with more athletically pleasing products in the past. I was pleasantly surprised that not only are these tools beautiful to look at, they are absolute work horses. The blades are sharp, the handles are comfortable to use for long periods, and the cut is complete each time with no frayed or torn edging. I have now ordered the same set in three other colors and would highly recommend for a multitude of uses. One word of caution is that the sharpness should be noted if using or purchasing for younger consumers, like my 9 year old who is just getting interested in sewing. 😀 When used correctly, a sharp instrument is less likely to result in accidents. However, I would recommend supervision to achieve the experience needed to ensure best results while reducing the risks of working with a sharp blade. Fantastic set for an exceptional price!
Perfect for sewing needs
I love the blue color of this set. In all honesty I've not had the occasion to use the rotary as yet. However, the scissors are my favorite "goto" pair in the arsenal of craft scissors housed in my craft cave. The price drop on this duo was perfect for my pocketbook and I'm glad I made them mine.
Pioneer Woman has the best in scissors, rotary cutters, and knives. You won't be disappointed in the quality of any of these products. I highly recommend!
I love the pattern and colors the scissors work great I haven't tried the rotary cutter yet. My only complaint is I wish the prices on pioneer woman items were lower I think you'd have even more sales.
The scissors are fantastic but I bought it for the rotary tool. It is pretty cheesy. If I had seen it before I purchased it (bought online) I would of gotten the better brand with no scissors. The guard is flimsy plastic and the screw loosens on the wheel as you use it.
I love the scissors but the Rotary Cutter didn't cut through a single layer of deco mesh or tulle. I will be keeping it but putting a different brand blade on it. I suggest that Pioneer Women do something different for the blade that comes with the rotary cutter.
Ugh wish I could say something good about these scissor..only good thing is their pretty pattern..they do cut nicely the first month now it's s losing their sharpness. I'm always using them to cut fabric think or thin. The screw always comes off and I tighten but still comes off.
The first time I used them, they were great by the 3rd time the scissors became loose. It is hard to get a good cut because of how loose they are, I've tried to tighten the screw and that didn't work. It's not worth a buy.
Scissors broke the first time I used them out of the package. I want a refund
