I am so amazed with these containers! They seal tight, my cookies didn't go stale, I didn't have to throw any away. They have many different sizes. They are very sturdy and tough ( I know because I already dropped one with soup), no spills! Thank You Rubbermaid! They withstand the microwave, dishwasher, freezer, etc. They are easy to open and close, which is good because I have arthritis. They are thick plastic, not flimsy.
Bought these a few years ago and love them. They are the only ones I use in my cabinet so I just bought another set and threw out all the other containers just taking up space. One size lid for three different large containers and one small size for three different smaller containers. Leftovers never spill when my husband takes them to work on his motorcycle.
I bought these storage containers because I was tired of the cheap disposable ones always looking so bad and breaking. Well let me tell you these are tough. I seem to over load my fridge once in awhile and things fall out when the door is opened. These containers take the hit! They don't break! I am impressed.
I like Lock-Its containers for their sealing capabilities. The seal is strong enough to keep fresh ground coffee beans fresh-smelling for a month. I like the placement of the seal much better than other brands with seals. It's much more than a flimsy ring that will easily come out of the ridge. It seems to be seal to the lid itself, not just sitting in a ridge. I like the boxy shape. I make a lot of soups and a serving size of 1.5 cups in these containers is perfect. They stack, they don't waste space. I wash these by hand so they will last forever. However, this is the second lid that has broken when I dropped the container. There's so much to love but I'm too klutzy for them.
I was so excited when I saw a box of lock its at costco while I was shopping. We have the glasslock containers but the rubbermaids come in more convenient sizes. I got home washed them and packed my lunch in the for the next day at work. But to my disappointment they leak! not only did i have pineapple juice all over my lunch bag, I also had fish juice. We use a ton of rubbermaid in our house and have never been so disappointment by one of their products. The rubbers are all in tack and it doesnt seem to have any reason to leak. I wont be buying any more rubbermaid containers again.
4 of the 10 lids will not snap down and latch onto the container. One of the lids has 2 flaps that will not latch down and the other 3 all have one flap that will not latch down on the container. I have tried mutable containers with the 4 lids with no success. I am very disappointed with this Rubbermaid product and there quality control. I will think long and hard before buying a Rubbermaid product again.
purged my whole prior set and bought a big box of these -- waste of money since on my first use (had never been put in dishwasher or anything, just rinsed) they leaked all over my briefcase and the books and papers inside. Definitely not worth the money.
I bought these because my very VERY old set of similar style clicklock containers were biting the dust. I've always had great luck with rubbermaid so was excited to try these... I was so disappointed! The larger ones are ok, but the little ones don't stay locked... I've been using them for a week, and I've already had two different in-bag spills. I'm going to be returning them.
After fighting with these hard to close and non sealing so called Lock-Its, they will be thrown away. Here is how they are marked on the bottom. 7J61 6, 7J61 5, 7J62 10, 7J62 16, 7J62 16, 7J63 3, 7J63 3, 7J63 3, 7L00 1, 7L00 2, 7L00 2, 7L00 3, 7L00 3, 7L00 3, 7L00 4 AND 7L00 4.
Purchased two. Seemed just the ticket. On the first usage I put in a cooked chicken breast. I left the other two compartments empty. The used compartment turned white and scaley after microwaving. Disappointed, I put them on the top rack of the dishwasher. First off,.. there is no room for other items once you load them. Too bulky. Second, the lid was badly warped after washing. One lady's review said she washes by hand. That might help,... but, I (not only am lazy) but prefer the more sanitizing dishwasher results. I am going to toss them out.
