We bought this unit because our central air conditioner blower went out, while waiting on the ac repair, which is not until a week later. This unit has cooled our living room, kitchen, hallway and can feel the cooler air circulating through out. Life Saver in the heat/humidity here in Florida. And the SMART technology is awesome, we put it on both android phones and the ipad. It let's us schedule routines, has energy monitoring and notifies us when to change filter. Overall, Great Product..Awesome!
Great appliance my house is an open concept so I needed a big AC unit to cool the house and this unit was perfect. Cools the open area in a matter of minutes. I love that fact that I can control it through the GE mobile app where ever I am with the WiFi feature. I give it 5 stars out of 5 wish I could give it more stars. A must have if your house or apartment has a big open concept space.
My unit cools my entire 1,008 sq. ft. apartment. I use it over my a/c In my apartment, and can control it from the app on my phone which I find very handy. Best investment yet
this AC was really worth the money, it literally keeps the entire floor cool in the midst of the current heatwave in the northeast, and I absolutely love being able to control it from my iphone no matter where I am .....love it!!!

I have to say for the price the unit gets the job done. My central AC went out and I bought 2 wall units to replace it and there great.
The product appears to work fine. However, there were manufacturing flaws. Poor attention to detail on GE's end. We'll see how it cools on a hot summer's day in LA.
This unit cannot handle heat and humidity. It will display an E8 code and low hot air. It needs to be manually reset to work again so if you're away, it will blow hot air until you return. It can only handle temperatures in the low 80s before it stops blowing cool air. This unit is only about a year and a half old, and has been slowly deteriorating in the Florida heat. Not a reliable unit. I have a smaller unit and another room that has been working steady and perfectly.
