The Schecter Hellraiser Solo-6 is a contoured top electric guitar which has a solid Mahogany body with Quilted Maple cap and a 25 1/2" scale 3-piece Mahogany set-neck with Schecter's "Ultra Access" deep cutaway neck joint for unobstructed reach to the highest notes on the fingerboard. The fingerboard has 24 frets and the Hellraiser's excusive Abalone "Gothic Cross" inlays on a solid Rosewood fingerboard. The Solo-6 E/A's electronics are Fishman's Powerbridge Tune-o-matic piezo pickup for the acoustic type sound, and the versatile active EMG 81 and 89 humbucker pickups with 2 Volume (1 for the piezo and 1 for the humbuckers) with 1 Tone Control (push/pull that splits the neck 89 pickup to single coil) with 3-way mini toggle pickup selector switch (piezo, piezo & humbucker or humbucker only) and 3-way traditional pickup selector switch for the humbuckers. The Fishman Powerchip is an active onboard accessory for mixing of your Powerbridge and magnetic pickups, which works in conjunction with the ‘Smart Switch’ circuit to split your piezo and EMG signals to stereo or mixes them to mono. This allows the EMG output to run to a standard guitar amp and the acoustic (piezo) output to go direct or to a dedicated acoustic amp. A TRS 'Y' cable is supplied. The Hellraiser Solo E/A features dual hollow 'Tone Chambers'. This feature, combined with solid center-block construction, allow the E/A to not only faithly Emulate the tone and expressiveness of an acoustic guitar... while avoiding feedback thru a high gain amp.
