Our one-piece design is ideal for customers looking for the stealthiest, most seamless possible finished product. The one-piece blends in a little better since it lacks the gap between the two pieces, and it can be used in situations where you are missing more of your dash and have holes to cover. The two-piece kit on the other hand allows for easy removal of the front defrost section (to replace the ambient light sensor). When in doubt, go with the one-piece! You won't regret it, as it is quicker to install, a little more cost-effective, and looks killer all said and done! How To Help Stop Annoying Rattles: If your dash is rattling or squeaking, using EXTRA silicone adhesive in all of the cracks can help make a huge difference! Apply the first tube of silicone that is included with the cover to the underside of the skin just like the instructions specify, then use your extra adhesive (purchased from us or at any hardware store, 100 percent silicone RTV adhesive) to apply directly to the dash itself to fill all cracks with a thick bead of silicone, and outline any holes (if you have holes) with the silicone just before installing the cover. We don't recommend allowing this to cure first, apply the skin while all of the silicone on the cracks is still wet so the cracks bond to the underside of the skin, this way the cover can help hold everything.
