Cute prints, good diapers

Good diapers, not the softest nor thickest but so far I haven't had any leaks. The package says it is “wiggle-proof leak barrier”and so far it's doing a good job at it. It does sags a lot after 4 hours so I haven't been able to test longer than that. I like the elastic waistband in the back, which makes it more comfortable for my active toddler. The prints are cute, gender neutral jungle theme and a pack comes with 2 different prints. Like with most diapers, it has a wetness indicator. My son is 31 lbs at 2.5 years and size 4 fits him well. There's also an indicator that tells you when your child is ready to move up to the next size and I found that very useful.

This did not meet my expectations.

I had high hopes for these diapers. They are definitely soft and stretchy. They are better price than some of the other bigger brands. But they don't keep up with those bigger brands. If I had to compare, they are similar to luvs. They do not hold nearly as much as your other big brand diapers. At first I thought they were going to be OK because if you change in your baby often enough then the amount of urine it hole is not bad. It does not hold very well or at least it feels very thin. As in the diaper gets filled very quickly and you'll notice more changes are needed. Which to me means that the baby skin is now constantly wet. The other problem I had was my child did have a blowout using these diapers. We haven't had a blowout in months. These diapers couldn't handle what needed to be done.

This brand of diapers has been giving my baby really bad rashes it almost looks like it's burning her skin. This is the first time I use this brand and will not ever use it again. I do not recommend it.

Chemical burn reaction, terrible diaper rash!
(1)
Reviewed in the USA on 2023-09-03T17:00:00

After using these diapers exclusively for about 6 months this newest purchase caused a horrible chemical burn reaction on my daughter! We had an issue with constant diaper rashes with these back when she was about 3 months old and had not used them since. She's now 2 and we got some in a pinch about 6 months ago and nothing happened. So we continued to use them and now with the new box we opened she has a terrible burn on her lower back and diaper rash. Nothing we did helped until we stopped using them and switched to a different brand. Walmart.com has issued a refund but this is still not acceptable for diapers to be causing this in babies.

Item return- substituted item is the wrong size

Reviewed in the USA on 2024-05-07T17:00:00

I ordered size 6 diapers and missed the substitution notification/response window because I was in a meeting a work. Instead of subbing them for ANOTHER brand size 6, they picked a size 5?? Tell me what I'm supposed to do with a box of diapers that are too small for my child? Unacceptable rationale and I would have preferred them they take the item off the list.

Burn-like rashes

Used to love these— nice bang for your buck! Recently bought a box of size 5 (sept ‘23) and my toddler broke out in an intense burn-like rash on his back and lower groin. At first I thought it was a fluke, but after I switched to a different brand and he started healing immediately, the rash came right back when I returned to Parent's Choice again. Yeesh. Avoid.

Redesign makes them leak!
(1)
Reviewed in the USA on 2023-08-17T17:00:00

Omg!!! Why did you redesign the front of the diaper. I compared to the box I bought from the store and the front tabs are a size shorter. They are constantly leaking!!! Top is the new size 6 diaper a lot smaller as you can see and bottom is the older style size 6 diaper.

180 degree disappointment!

Previously, I rated the Parent's Choice diapers as a 5 star, so please read: After Luvs and the others that we used for our kids kept leaking, we tried those for my grandson. They were fantastic. Hardly ever a leak. They have a flap in the back that guards against poop leaks and a thicker band in the front that absorbs even more pee where it absorbs and gets tighter to prevents pee leaks. All great. We had a trip from VA to NM and figured that since we are buying from Walmart, we will just buy it from there instead of carrying it with us. We got the same size diapers and they leaked from the one pee. We used three so far and all three leaked. We checked the new against the few we brought with us. They looked IDENTICAL in every what way but the ones we got from NM did not have the back flap or the extra thick front band. I just don't understand it. It is the exact same product and one is better than any national brand while the other is no better than putting a piece of paper towel. What gives?

DIAPERS LEAK NOW
(1)
Reviewed in the USA on 2024-05-16T17:00:00

I've used these diapers on both of my kids for the past 4 years with no issues whatsoever. Last time I bought them, I noticed that they were different and the tabs were shorter. Now, my kids are soaking their pants after an hour because these diapers leak!! Just horrible. Why would you change the diapers when they work just fine?! The first night they wore diapers from the new box, my bed was completely soaked 1 hour after I put them both to bed with new clean diapers. I am so mad and now have to find a different (probably more expensive) brand of diapers that work for my kids. Unbelievable.

Zero stars- Do not use gentle dreams diapers

The glue that attaches the pocketed waistband on the inside pulls up %26 sticks FIRMLY to the baby's skin overnight, and rips off like a wax strip, leaving baby's skin raw and swollen. This was NOT a one time event. I have twins and it happened to both a few times before I figured out it was glue. I won't be using them anymore and neither should you, if you love your children. It's a defect and needs to be addressed.
