These pants really are great for kids who need to wear uniforms to school. The adjustable elastic on the inside of the waistband is a great plus for kids and parents. The waist measurements for determining what their size are a little off, but the elastic adjustments help to make up for it.
These pants are very nice. The knees are reinforce on the inside . The pleats make the pants stylish. They are HIGHLY RECOMMMENDED for boys with big theighs and behinds , there seem to be more room in the leg area.
These pants were purchased for uniforms. The material may feel starched and rough out of the package but a first washing makes the fabric very confortable. My active son has gotten every type of stain possible..mud, grass stains, spaghetti sauce, chocolate ice cream...so far all stains removed with laundry detergent and stain remover. They are great for dress occassions as well and require no ironing...pretty wrinkle free out of the dryer..even after staying in there for an hour or so. Also, love the reinforced knee...you can only see the additional fabric by turning the pants inside out. Great value for the money...will be buying more of these in several colors.
The size seemed more of the next size up than a Husky. The inseam was longer along with the waist.
I was looking for uniform pants, and these are great. I like the reinforced knee, and the fact the pants come in husky sizes. The only thing I would recommend is a wrinkle resistant style. I have washed these pants several times, and it appears they will wear well and last - you can't beat these pants for the price.
We tried on a pair of the "George" brand pants at our local Wal-Mart and found my son needed a 10 Husky. That's what I ordered here. The pants are not the same as the ones in the store, and the sizing is WAY smaller. The 10 Husky pants I received wouldn't even fasten.
Ordered pants in 10 husky but they ranway too small. Wouldn't even go over my son's thighs.
I have always ordered my son's uniforms here online. However, this year I was not pleased at all! The pants I ordered were a size bigger than my son actually wears and they wouldn't even fasten around his waist! If you go up a size they are way to long and the crotch hangs to his knees! Same experience with the shorts of this brand. I purchased the same brand last year and they still look brand new and fit great. I am not sure what happened to the quality of thses pants, but they sure did ruin a once great product.
